I’m not sure what sorcery prevents the belt from chain reactioning like every other autocannon vehicle in the game but… Sure? I didn’t make claims about the ATGMs, and if anything I’ve argued in defense of it if you read my posts since I’ve also stated it would make the vehicle literally dead in the water. Even if they ATGM detonation broke a barrel it’d still be seen as a glaring issue, but wasn’t the leo artificially nerfed because they didn’t want a hulled down vehicle to be too strong?
It’s blatantly obvious the vehicle is doing too much, people just wanna stay up top anyway they can, I stopped using the GR1 until the nerfs came into play, doubt many can make such claims to opting not to use busted vehicles solely so they can win and pad their stats like everyone here is trying out for Esports teams.
That’s Gaijin doing basic modeling of ammo. What people should be suggesting is that they give IFVS and vehicle equivalents that same treatment as some vehicles with even smaller round sizes such as 20mm realistically would not chain detonate as easily as the game makes it out to be.
Doesn’t matter how it actually functions irl, this is already a fantasy game by significant margins, put it in like the rest or remove that reaction from the others why does it magically get to be different.
Because like I said, it would make the vehicle virtually useless to some degree.
Mind you that the mentaility won’t be aiming for any general weakspots, because now the single line of ammo is gonna be the first place people shoot, or simply use machine guns to unrealistically set it off.
That is my point, and I simply said Gaijin should implent this change with all ammo belts ranging from these calibers instead of people advocating to remove it entirely.
All of these vehicles of which have 1 barrel you need to worry about, I’ll slimly give the spikes only because they can be fired behind some weird cover, but them being insanely unreliable is laughable for anyone to have a complaint.
I usually aim lower by default, around where the sideskirts end on the T-90M. However I guess that could also be personal preference on my end, I very often get the ammo rack that way.
I understand that, I’m just saying making a change with the exposed ammo would make the vehicle redundant. Would defeat the purpose of it being on a tank chassis, nobody would really want to play it.
