I meant in terms of penning the side, anytime I fire at it my darts go sideways then get eaten by the spall liner.
I’ll have to try again later, but I don’t think I’ve ever killed a BMPT outside of a side shot or lucky drivers viewport, I’ve yet to get a belt detonation or at least that I can recall.

Not as reliably and depends on the BMPT, one has spall liner directly behind the drivers (TT variant), the other doesn’t, but even then you’d need to perfect shot past the BMPT72 spall liner surrounding the driver and lining the sides. There’s a reason it reliably works on all the other T chassis but not this one, the missing spall liners.
I don’t think people have also realised that you could potentially have to knock out 4 bmpt’s per player on the Russian team if they utilise their backup on their premium and tech tree vehicles lol.

Yeah… Those daily backups, and BMPTs rarely being alone but that’s just “team play” a concept many of my teams struggle to comprehend as they take up sniping positions, provide no cover, then just get killed. I have to play aggressive in my IFVs or people wont move, 1 T80 makes 2 leos and 1 abrams terrified to round the corner til a CV90 goes flying past it.

NATO has to punch through RU relict, T series shoot any other tank almost anywhere and break or instakill, short of what, the 122B+? No one can round the corner at 68kph and just click on a RU tank to delete it, literally have to aim. You could take the 292 to top tier and manage fine, more pen than the Chally TD.
Even if you got a 12 vs 12 match and 5 players were playing the tech tree bmpt (given enough time entirely possible), the opposing team could have to kill up to 10 bmpt’s if they’re running back ups not including the premium one available.
Now imagine you’re playing Sweden, who almost exclusively is light vehicles at a certain BR, and when all your team is light vehicles well… GGs.
One of the reasons why I want the damage model edited so light vehicles can do something lol.
every t series can be killed with no aim at all if you think a bit.
all nato tank have only 1 weak spot and its the lower plate that it.
while t series have lower plate- turret front around the gun, driver port.

I cry in Challenger and Type10/TKX at this statement, as they constantly go straight through my faceplate/mantlet nuking everything inside, while I have to aim at a viewport in half a second, but RU mantlet egregiously gets nonpen from 564mm darts, or perhaps it’s the trunnion, but even so, the barrel should still be severely damaged.

challenger i rarely see them and when i go againt one, huge driver port and huger lower front plane make my round go inside like butter
According to stats they’re pretty close when it comes to making tiers much less enjoyable.
All the while it fends off and kills half a dozen of your teammates in ~15 seconds while not being peekable at all, due to the fact it’s nuking you if you show a pixel or two of your tracks.
Apparently all that happens but it still barely beats T58 when it comes to kills per death.
Consistent across every chally, even if I hide lower plate, death is still insanely nearby. No need for the best dart if your target couldn’t stop a flaming diaper.
I don’t 100% trust the protection analysis, because I’ve shot RU tanks in the mantlet and gotten either ricochet or non-pen which the analysis says it should go through and break the breach/kill a crewmember but this is 100% true for the chally line, it’s a rough life.
I wouldn’t say they’re relatively close with BR unplayability, BMPT farms SP like no tomorrow, and people already rush CAS/Heli points. As cracked as the T58 is, it doesn’t exacerbate the AGM spam to exponential proportions. Now every jack, jill, and bedridden cat can rush to farm ground targets in the sky.
