Any LWS I get from behind is either real or a teammate at the start of the match rangefinding me to set off LWS, can’t say I’ve encountered false pings outside of RAB when the airfields used to set off RWR like crazy or allies firing missiles which makes my system spew warnings.
Top tier has only become enjoyable for me again because as JP I can now fling KH38 back at RU so they can see how it’s felt for almost the past 2 years, since no one should have ever gotten FNF AGMs for balance purposes, but whatever causes pain and forces you to buy your way through vehicles to be competitive or cheesy.

And because of how inconsistent the BMPT damage mode is, just makes it easier for your less than avg player to get into air vehicles easier to do just this.
People seem to also forget not every nation has armour and there’s still plenty of light vehicles at top tier for the BMPT to chow down on, “git gud” simply doesn’t work, you’re better off telling everyone reroll SE and just main Strv122B+.

Their K/D isn’t that far off, which suggests people have issues killing T58 as well. Both create a pretty big impact in matches.

Not enough to warrant an outcry the same way the bmpt does - i shoot a t58 it explodes, i get shot in a t58 i explode, i can disable a T58 by blowing it’s barrel off, i can one shot a T58 frontally in the lower hull through the ammo carousel because there are many ways to actually kill or avoid T58’s and yes the T58 will rip your face off if you let it but it’s killable the only thing i would say about the T58 is the turret traverse seems abnormally fast if that gets balanced so be it i think it would be a more enjoyable vehicle for everyone involved with that non existent drama.
The BMPT no you have to shoot the one specific pixel and hope it doesn’t get squirrel trapped by the external/internal that’s actually one continuous ammo belt then get your face ripped off by 30mm anyway because the shell got eaten by the drivers knee.
Look i’ll happily gang up with you on pangolin fan in the cas thread to the end of days but on this subject we don’t agree the bmpt is a cancer probably one of the worst i’ve ever seen…Even CC’s are full fledged against it.
Players in this thread who have backed the BMPT up and saying it’s too high in BR or talked about skill issue had really low K/D’s except for this vehicle. Although I have had no issues as a US player. When I play Sweden 10.7 lineup it’s still bad. Going to grind japan and hope it’s fixed by the time I get to the BR.

Good luck, our RoF and mobility is our saving grace, armour doesn’t exist because JP never really gave it much, so even our MBTs are BMPT fodder from the front. We also have KH-38 to sling back at RU, so there’s that.
The hydropnuematic suspension can be fun for cresting hills to fire, but since our faceplate is basically a wetnap you still risk being instagibbed.
Can they be killed… Yes… Are they the most resilient vehicle to destroy in the game to date? Absolutely yes. Knocking out the multiple weapon systems simultaneously is very difficult in comparison to anything else, the heavy ERA will just counter most rounds in a downtier, you have to flank them to counter them in most cases… Which is hard when gaijin is tailoring maps for head to head engagements, having swarms of them on the map means the opposite team realistically has no other option than to use MBTs, light vehicles are just going to get hammered meaning there’s less vehicles scouting or knocking out drones which puts you at a further disadvantage. It’s just a compounding problem vehicle tbh.
First things they should change is the accuracy of the 30mm’s and second to that is the turret ring should be taller so hitting it in the neck actually locks the guns up, if gaijin can argue that a turret basket can stop a turret turning when damaged that tall neck carousel can act the same way, currently it’s deeper down in the hull behind the spall liner. All the light tanks and SPAA have those large solid baskets that get knocked out when damaged, this has a simple turret ring and nothing else.

That’s the thing, T58 isn’t generating any outcry despite obviously being too strong for it’s BR.
Takes you a second to search through all T58 threads and guess what, you’ll even find a few that’re defending it for some weird reason.
Sorry but you simply cannot convince me that BMPT is so much more problematic that it received orders of magnitude more threads/comments in a month after it’s release than what T58 did in several months.
Because it’s busted…The T58 while powerful is still not as busted as the bmpt, some people defend it but the vast majority of everyone sane who has played it or seen it played knows it’s busted, i played 4 games with mine and i refuse to play it now because it’s so busted.
They are really close though.
With that in mind, number of complaints should be close as well but they aren’t even comparable. This is the only poll I could find on it and not even 2/3rds of voters agree it should go up.

I’m all for finding a way to balance this thing, which doesn’t seem realistically possible without changing the armour modeling on it, but making the vehicles neck profile taller than it actually is kinda meh… Gaijin does pick and choose what’s real, and some vehicles have beyond their irl performance, but a physical change to the design seems a tad much. Shooting the ATGMs should chain reaction and blow the barrels apart, but that’s also a too much ask and the thing would basically be dead in the water, which I think it deserves, but for “balance” purposes wouldn’t work.
It should increase BMPT/72 and T58.They are both busted.BMPT/72 is busted because of no significant disadvantage and crappy damage model,ammo model.BR of BMPT should be 12.0 or at least 11.7.So 10.3-10.7 can enjoy life without seeing BMPT.It absorbs and deletes ammo like crazy.Before you can shoot their weakspots,you either get blinded out by 30 mm APDS or your ammo disappears.And this is if you see one of them alone.There is always multiple of them and also their friendly tanks
