ah yea russian ammo doesn’t explode inside autolaoder or belt feed despite crew litteraly sitting on it but AJAX and Boxer ammo stored OUT OF crew compartment is instant ammorack when hit… not to mention Ajax turret especially cheek should be basically immune to 30mm russian apds from approximately 500+ meters… but ofc it isnt…

Thats the 1 we dont have in game, thats there is the Production one which combines both 90M hull with our -72 turret

The BMPT72, which uses the production turret, has the same specified missiles as the BMPT, i.e. 9M120-1 and 9M120-1F…
bmpt is the first. later came the bmpt 72 to get export attention to upgrade the old t72.
so the bmpt 2 is not based on the bmpt 72. its a upgrade from the bmpt 1 ( were not even suppose to use number as there only 1 bmpt in production )
sadly i dont have such info, i need to look for it.
but a weaker source says that its can use some more modern atgm / bullets ( wiki )

BMPT is the designation for both the prototype we have in-game aswell as the production version.
The BMPT prototype predates that of BMPT72, BMPT72 is a later development (first brochures from uralvagonzavod that I have are from ±2012), which uses a different turret than the BMPT prototype aswell as a different chassis/hull.
The production version of BMPT utilizes the hull of the prototype BMPT (our ingame-variant essentially) and the upgraded turret that is also seen on the BMPT72.
I am so confused when it comes to differenciating the different BMPT variants:
- BMPT prototype
- BMPT production
- BMPT-72 (export?)
- BMPT Terminator 2 (export)
still got no idea what the real production BMPT is. Read that its the 3 crew version and the naming isn’t exactly helping either
