I rather like naval in War Thunder, but the Leviathans update destroyed any pretense of balance at or near top tier, which is just a shame. You would have thought they would have learnt that mistake previously with Scharnhorst, but instead they just failed even worse this time. Lower BRs are okay… but I tried playing some 6.0 in a light cruiser and faced nothing but Battleships. (Likely casued at least in part by a lot of people favouring 7.3 and below over 7.7 and up)
Ive tried a little of the Infantry in WT, but not a fan. Not really a major fan of FPS games these days. I would get BF6 to play with friends but Ive not got the cash at the moment

Gaijin should let new players trial top tier for 3 days. Let them experience what’s going on with the terminator, soyuz, and su30sm2. Half will play russia and the other half will quit. Those who are smart enough to quit will at least add 10 more years to their lifespan from not grinding through WWII to see the absolute shithole top tier is.
Yes, if I wanted infantry I would just play Battlefield. Seeing them add the BMPT and do infantry is like watching GHPC catch up to War Thunder who already owns the crown in Ground while DCS took the crown in Air. Either way, their bread and butter will eventually stop chugging if they keep this up with what competitors are doing.

yesterday i shot 2 spikes from CRV and they hit that box in which are breachses and did absolutely nothing, meanwhile he shot with APDS my CCTV and it killed my whole turret…

New players don’t care nor look at forums. Took me three top tier nations and a year to finally get on forums. Most new players play USA realize the game is mid to them because they have to learn then hop on games their friends already play. Most gamers play for friendship and fun unlike us.

I have like one friend I convinced to play with me. Being both americans we started that. Then switched to germany, now on japan lol. After this update its just been gunner heat pc. The leopard 1A3 is nicccceeee.

GHPC will eventually catch up the War Thunder but as of right now. This BMPT BS (which I don’t mind needs fixing for balance) needs attention. It’s like watching Intel fall to having nothing when people warned them AMD is coming and coming quick. Makes sense while Gajin keeps releasing new games instead of fixing what they already have that works.
Hard balancing Russian tanks without ERA, I think if they made it realistic where it actually isn’t as good it will kill Russia as a nation in game.
