I bet you won’t say the same about all the NATO Vehicles performing better than it…according to you Gaijin should nerf the Centauro then too…or the Abrams because the M1A2 is one of the best performing Vehicles…in Chinas Tree…which is worse than the US one.
Not annoying to face + way more skill required
You’ll have to find me saying that instead of just making bad assumptions about my opinions
Your argument that the BMPT should be nerfed / moved up in BR is based on its performance.
I can pull the same argument and performance Stats with NATO Vehicles…
1.26 K/D for so called ender of worlds is far from impressive.
They also got a significant accuracy nerf.
Btw you have the same Firerate as BMPT + APFSDS + stronger ATGMs already at 10.3 BR with Stuff like the BMP-2M.
The BMPT Firepower is utter crap at 11.7BR. You are entirely reliant on the high Firerate to carry you. At this BR you also now have quite a few Vehicles with APS making your ATGMs useless.
Only the TT BMPT is so survivable because it has five Crewmembers and fuel Tanks behind the Spall Liner (pro Tip don’t shot where the fuel Tanks are if ur shooting into Side). It has the same weakspots as T-Series MBTs.
Both of them are being outperformed by dozens of NATO Vehicles.
Or Stuff like the T58 is by far more oppressive than the BMPTs at its BR…
Never see Russia/China Mains constantly malding about it.
That’s not my whole argument, I also don’t treat stats like gospel based on their first appearance and use nuance to have a better picture
It’s a high K/D overall for a vehicle and the BMPT is still peak bad gameplay to face
0.8 to 1.0 so spooky, or was it 1.0 to 1.2? scary
It’s far from high considering Click-Bait is pulling out those numbers as well.
0.8 to 2.0.
Indeed spooky and scary.
Last I saw that was reverted to what I said
And then it was increased back to 2.0.
If that’s true I will wait and see what it does
This is the last change that happened to the 30mm 2A42 gun. I tried it in test drive and it’s pretty much spray and pray with that peashooter. That thing is great at tickling anything with non-awful armor.
Ground weapon changes:
- 30 mm 2A42 (BMP-2D, BMP-2M, BMPT, BMPT-72, T-72M2, BMP-2MD), 30 mm 2A72 (BMD-4, BMD-4M, BMD-4M (Sinitsa) (“BMD-4M2”), BMP-3, BTR-80A, BTR-82AT, BTR-80A [ITA]), 30 mm ZPZ02 (QN506, ZBD04A): max dispersion: 0.1 → 0.2°
All in all, complaining about BMPT being super strong in it’s current state comes down from trauma when it was down at 10.3.
Yea at 11.7 its absolute crap and should get APFSDS.
I wouldn’t say it’s crap, but it’s bullying times are definitely a thing of the past.
It is still way more effective than it should be. It is still something a team has to focus on more than many other vehicles. That does not show up in test drives, but it is still there in the actual game.
There are a lot more people who clearly bought the OP machine and they literally charge in with little thought so numbers will change a bit, but the BMPT is still out of whack with reality and similar vehicles in game.
To me the BR of these things has not been the problem as much as a vehicle built on propaganda while others cannot get a fraction of what logic would suggest (Merkavas, Challenger 2, and many others). One vehicle, BMPT, got a downhill cruise to extreme survivability and lethal offense while the others struggle to get a few more mm of armor. Forget the visual examples of the super wobbly barrels and the fragility of the machine.
M1A2 is definitely under tiered imo as well. I still don’t understand why the Leclerc is at a higher BR. Sure, it doesn’t need an aced crew to reach its best reload rate, and has a much lower nato hump, but that’s about it compared to the M1A2
It’s still a turret less Gepard with ERA running around creating a headache for everyone else at 10.7. Most tanks at 10.7 cannot handle the ERA buff has. It was already bad for most 10.7 tanks I’ve tested the dispersion against a leo or abrams or even any other tank minus challenger, that didn’t get the turret buff is still extremely suppressive similar to gerpard killing a object 279 without even trying due to coding issues on spamming. Personally, BR 12 and it’s good to go in my opinion. or they need to buff rounds for 10.7 tanks to actually be able to kill it easier. A downtier shouldn’t be absolute oppression.
Sorry it took so long to reply, I was banned for about 30 days calling someones opinions redundant and disrespecting community guidelines. Seeing your stats you’re very good at the game overall, even better with the BR 12 Abrams tanks. When I see a player like you I understand you have the basics, intermediates and advances down. Map knowledge, weak spots, strengths and weakness of a tank, understanding your playstyle, aim, when to push and when not to push, situational awareness, game sense, CAS lover (kidding). And all are good things but for the average gamer the BMPT presents too much of a curve already at top tier. As I said above, it’s a broken turret-less crew Gepard with ERA that doesn’t actually work in real life. (Looking at Ukraine taking back Crimea and bombing Moscow it’s safe to say Russia is not to be feared in real life go figure). But if I put you in the Abrams and a normal player in the Abrams one will say “Hey just use your brain” while the other will say “What’s a brain?” and that’s why I still think for the sake of players it needs to be at 12 now with dispersion.
The ERA “buff” [not a buff] does not impact flat protection at all, its angled protection is still a fraction of the front ERA angled protection.
The ERA itself [we’re not talking overlapping plates, tracks, server errors, etc] protect enough to dissuade 105mm DM23 from penetrating when shot at about 60 degrees.
However, 105mm DM33, and 120mm DM23 have enough penetration to go through when no other errors occur.
At 10.7 there is an issue with Leopard 2A4s and Abrams being weirdly BR’d for the rounds they have. Hyper-mobile, semi-protected MBTs.
At 10.0 - 10.3? M829A1, KE-W, etc exist on lesser armored systems, easily deal with BMPT when first shot is allowed by positioning.
Challengers are lucky, they get L26, so any errors there might be with overlapping plates, servers, etc aren’t impacting L26 as they are with 120mm DM23.
The premium BMPT doesn’t suffer overlapping plate issues cause it doesn’t have those weird triangular ERA casings, which also reduces the premium’s angled protection.
The tech tree one is more likely to experience favorable errors, and these errors favor every tank with complicated multi-plate protection.
Not every nation is the US, there are various other nations at 10.7 with worse or better calibers. Challengers at 10.7 are amazing with limited mobility they pack a punch even with their premium lineup. Japan has the 4 sec reload but struggles to penetrate the BMPT reliably and Abrams at 10.7 forget about it. Most of these tanks including Sweden Christian 2 have very light armor compared to BMPT spam. At most, I would say BMPT 72 can stay at 11.7 with 3 crew vs BMPT with 5 crew should be at BR 12. The ERA buff isn’t the worst thing in the world for certain calibers but for most nations. BMPT/72 having both spall and ERA facing 10.7 is just criminal. I already am upset the T58 is a freaking monster for it’s BR grinding Britain and realizing BMPT being able to be seen at 10.7 is just downright criminal.
Also get rid of the gooner wallpaper man, have some self respect. Don’t descend to the level of deprived minds its already bad enough as it is.
