Damage model of BMP-T doesn’t work properly, shots that are shown as guaranteed start ricochet. It’s absolutely unplayable against USSR is just pain and suffering. Remove the BMPT from the game until you finish it, it’s NOT WORKING PROPERLY. Absolute pay to win piece of crap

it’s not about its battle rating, it’s about how the vehicle itself works. Answer is, it just doesn’t, if you shoot 620mm pen APFSDS into it, it will bounce or doesn’t do any damage at all, it’s unkillable
you are mostly right, I assume you are using the Abrams or DM63, so the only reliable way to kill the BMPT is to shoot its lower front plate if you arent dead yet.
unlike Flanker_Thunder, I’ll try to help you out without being rude. First he is right about the premium tanks, you need to learn weakspots, and buying top tier tanks with little to no top tier experience is also a problem-- what most people fail to reconize that just because they can “easily kill” a hard tank doesn’t mean that everyone else can with ease, everyone is different; and I can confirm with lots of top tier experience BMPTs are hard to kill. With that aside, you need to shoot the bottom front plate as I said previously, hitting the side is also works but can be iffy. Don’t use heatfs. I recommend using the ingame hitting chart thing to evaluate your own weakspots.

all you say is either a ragebait, or you just don’t get the concept of what balance is. The fact that you can kill it doesn’t prove that it’s working, it just proves the ability to kill it. If you can kill T90M using 3.7 Puma, is that a good way to play the game? Is that supposed to happen? I know weak spots, i shoot them, THEY BOUNCE OFF. Is that what happens when you shoot a weak spot?
I don’t get the idea of explaining the whole idea how to play, i play the exact way you say to me, my issue is that either volumetric shells or something works terrible on BMPT exactly. I’ve had so many moments when i shoot bottom plate and it just doesn’t pen at all, or it actually pens, but goes right through with no damage at all. I know that it’s basically random, but when the shell doesn’t do anything and goes right through, or when it just bounces off and flies away spinning, it’s some black magic happening and i noticed that only on BMPTs
