BMO BR Its wrong

How a boat with just a 37mm as its main gun its BR 3.0 wen usa have this boat at just 2.3 they have one even more overpowered added on the last update the PT-262(BR2.0) with the same guns but without the 20mm

with 45 mm + 37 mm and armor

Armor and a low silhouette will greatly increase survivability relatively american PT boats.

Drawback of it being effective years ago like many vessels sub BR 3.7, the DEVELOPERS really need to take player feedback from the modes battle ratings more seriously & decompress nearly every BR & or at the same time reduce the BR of many vessels at ineffective BR’s.

IIRC the BMO was as low as 1.7/2.0 originally, it’s bizarre that it’s 3.0 still, yet all probably due to the 37 mm being automatic & at the bow.

It’s funny this MO-class is to high of a BR yet +0.7 higher is the Project 204 which should be even higher given how successful it’s & essentially a repeat of the BMO yet nothing has bloody happened yet.

You can’t use the. 45mm meanwhile using the 37 and the armor don’t matter wen usa have a 2 40mm autocanons on the same BR with a ton of 50.cals

And the 45mm its semi the one of the BT-5 soo It don’t its full auto the same that uses the MO-4 of BR1.0

It have a little more of survivavility but the armament its to weak for be 3.0 because the boats that have a autocanon on the front like a 40mm normally they are 2.3 not 3.0 like the trash of the BMO for example this one have 2 huge autocanons that desintegrate any boat

At just 2.3

Unlike say the tank vs aircraft debate, in the case of coastal vs bluewater there is far more justification to give coastal vessels a split queue from bluewater.

Bluewater ships are not only larger, have more armor, and have more firepower, which are all to be expected of them over coastal boats. They also are in many cases faster, and their AI gunners can melt coastal boats even when the bluewater guy is in an artillery duel across the map.

Coastal boats have a maneuverability advantage, but AI aimbots don’t care about that. Torpedo bulges may render even surprise torpedo attacks that somehow get through the AI aimbots ineffective, too.

Thus coastal ships have not a single serious advantage over bluewater vessels, and clearly should not be in the same arena unless intentionally brough there by the user.

Queue in a lineup of just coastal boats? You get matched only against other users with just coastal.

Queue in a lineup with at least one bluewater and some coastals? You fight against others with bluewater.

I agree in that for example the Groza boat yes its Big but It don’t have the same firepower of a destroyer for example the reserve destroyer of the URSS have 4 canons of 102mm the Groza only 2 and It also have to spawn on bluefleet spawns soo you probably will never reach a point because its insanely slow only 33km/h stock and its a pain unlock costal fleet boats because they cost a insane amount of research points the fruze go at 60km/h stock and have more fire power at just 0.3 more BR soo yes costal fleet need a mode of only boats and no destroyers

Nah, and I say this as someone who would greatly benefit from just coastal (Pr. 206). It’s good to have both. Each doing their own role.

If you take only coastal in your deck, you match only against others doing the same.

If you take coastal+bluewater, or just bluewater in your deck, you match against other bluewater players. You can still spawn coastal there if you want, as a handful of particularly fast torpedo platforms are viable, especially against early DDs with little to no secondary armaments.

But the vast majority of coastal boats, especially various sub-chasers and minesweepers, are worse in every aspect than DDs, including speed. And unlike planes running from SPAAG/SAMs, coastal boats have nowhere to run away to that bigger ships cannot follow them from, as our maps are nowhere near large enough to incorporate say a large river delta in addition to an ocean section.
