I see that the game has Russian blueprint battleships and battlecruisers like sovetsky soyuz, Kronstadt and Stalingrad but WHY don’t America get the Montana class or USS Lexington when it was a Battlecruiser in the Blueprint. The germans had the H and O class ships, the H as battleships and the O as Battlecruisers, WHY aren’t they in game. The Japanese had the A-150 Class battleship, WHY is it not in game. The British also had the Lion class, WHY is this not here.
My point is that WHY does Russia get to have blueprint battleships and Battlecruisers but NO other nation can. That is unfair to all.
Be Better Gaijin.
I do appreciate seeing the Yamato getting its second added. Hopefully we see Tirpitz, Missouri or Duke of York added in the future
All of the Soviet ships had been started in some way. That’s their criteria for inclusion. I do agree that things like the shells on the Soyuz are pure fantasy as well as the armor which Soviet industry was completely incapable of manufacturing. However, the ships themselves were past the design stage.
I would like to see “paper” ships like the Montana in the game, but unless Gaijin changes their criteria, it won’t happen.
Because Russia has very few ships compared to navy behemots like Japan or US.
Same thing why Japan had blueprint airplanes on Rank V which was top tier at that time.
True that other nations should have their laid down ships if that’s the criteria, but it’s not like Gaijin has explicitly excluded them or anything. To my knowledge, all ships in the game at least had a partial keel laid or are planned modifications of existing hulls. The only unbuilt ships left fitting the “keel laid” criteria would be H-39, Lion, Lexington, and South Dakota (1920). These are the only unfinished capital ships that I feel have a good chance of future addition.
Classes such as Montana, A-150, and G3 would only be able to be added if Gaijin expanded the criteria to “parts built.” I think to add the German O-class or British N-class the requirements would have to be pushed even further out to “completed drawings with orders” making them 100% paper ships. This is something I’ve never heard Gaijin entertain since naval came out.
I was not aware that they were laid down. Glad to see there’s at least some potential future battleship addition for France, even if it’s not at top tier.
Jean Bart was rumored to be the French premium in datamines, along with Vittorio Veneto for Italy. Gaijin didn’t add the ships at the last minute, but I don’t know if that’s because they had a change of heart or the ships weren’t ready.
Because the USSR did not have a good navy and require paper ships to get anything at all. The fact those paper ships are far stronger than real ships is just a bonus to Gaijin because it means they can always win every match and it fits with the Soviet propaganda that Gaijin likes
The 2s38 isnt really fake, sure it shouldnt have proxy fuze he but time fuze, but that doesnt make it a fake vehicle, it does exist.
As for the Yak, they have used the same criteria for other vehicles after it, and they have added vehicles more “fake” than it as well.
Its not just the ships. Its also russian boats. They’re so incredibly strong at redicoulusly low BRs. While you’re in a small boat with two quickly overheating Bofors, they spawn next to you in a frigate like 10x as powerful. Both at 4.3 BR.
Its so out of balance that Naval is finally dominated by AI ships. Boat gameplay as well as blue water is deserted.
If you did even 5 minutes of google searching, let alone look up the criteria for a ship to exist in warthunder, you wouldn’t even be asking this.
Soyuz: laid down
Mackensen: laid down
Ersatz Yorck: laid down
Tosa: laid down
Amagi: more or less completed but irreparably damaged during a 1920s earth quake
Gneisenau: completed but the 38cms were only ever a proposal stopped during design phase.
