Not in any meaningful capacity from what I’ve seen.
It can dive throttled down, and it will kill you if it wants. You can only not die if you are faster, which is only a thing at 7.3+.
More common than almost every other rare event plane, and they are always utter cancer to fight. You simply cannot kill it unless you are in a headon, or you force it to run out of fuel. Neither of those will happen if a semi competent player is flying it.
Why are you defending a plane you don’t own anyways?
i didn’t say i was defending it, i was just saying it haven’t seen it anywhere so it doesn’t look like a serious problem to make a whole topic about a simple rocket-propelled plane. that assumption of urs is quite dumb.
Trust me it only takes a couple interactions with the stalin rocket to realise its insane for only 6.7 when the komet is 8.3 (while being worse)
then move it up to 7.0/7.3.
btw i don’t own it, but im pretty sure P-51H and Spitfire Griffon are way better than the BI at 6.7.
it would be impressive if it had better maneuverability than a 6.7 Spitfire.
It would still kick the crap out of those jets tbh, it can pick and choose what to kill all the way until IR missiles start appearing.
8.3 or 8.7 is where it’d still be picking and choosing its fights but its gonna eat a sidewinder if they choose wrong
More practical maybe, but in the moment of the actual fight the BI is far better.
its a BnZ plane, that you cant stop from being in a position where it can BnZ perfectly.
pretty sure it would just barrel roll the sidewinder due to it’s small size, lol.
probably, but that means they cant just go vertical to escape all the time, plus if they are 8.7 they will see SRAAM, which will put them back in their lane real fast.

It’s 20mms are pretty crap / it’s belts.
It’s speedy and small are its pros.
You can’t even out turn that Brit early jet that was in a BP awhile ago, which is the same br, with better all around armaments
90 rounds for 2 cannons isn’t a lot there pal.
Pretty much everything you face has 3x or more ammo, and I don’t play on pc, so it’s not a point and click adventure for me, so I’m not on easy mode like you :)
It’s enough, and it’s a better armament than the 60rpg 30mms that the Me-163 gets. Plus, shvaks are actually good at the moment.

45 rnds per gun, with crappy ammo, vs 60 per gun with good ammo.
And the 30mms hit a lot harder. For perhaps slightly less velocity.
Never been a fan of the shvaks tbh. They’ve never done well for me.
And in grb / any air mode, most people tend to maneuver when a plane comes up on them, and avoid getting hit. Meaning most of your shots will miss. And don’t say “oh well wait for a golden opportunity” because that rarely ever happens.
The BI still makes jet engine sounds despite being at 0% throttle.
So no, all in all, I’d much much muchhhh rather play the P-59A which is a turning god compared to anything else, even the BI can hardly do half as good as it.
P-59a also has 3x .50 cals and a 37mm cannon.
While being quite the tanky aircraft usually.
