Bf109s and FW190s are the worst experience i've had in this game

Oh my God, it was amazing. I ended up in a match where, because of the sun, planes didn’t get marked until you were within 1km of them—and it was a fantastic match; that’s what ARB should be like. It would be wonderful if enemy markers were removed just like in GRB, or at least if they only appeared at 1km—anything to stop enemies from being visible at 7, 6, or 5km. ARB needs to actually be ARB, not just AAB+.

yes
and in sim the fw190s feel so much nicer and well uhh
i mean the 109 already feels nice in arb but in sim they also feel pretty decent ngl

(ofc dont take what i say about how good they are in sim at face value since im not good in it but i still think i can talk about how much better esp the fw190s feel to fly in sim)

I just don’t know what to do with the G-14 anymore. I can only get kills on people who don’t realize I’m attacking them, and lately, there seem to be plenty of pilots who actually know what they’re doing with their planes; so, if you’re flying an aircraft that’s already at a disadvantage, you’re done for. If you go up against a Yak-3, Spitfire, or P-47M, you’re dead—even with a height advantage—unless your opponent simply isn’t very good. To make matters worse, the G-14 has a flight model bug: when you’re climbing and try to turn while rolling, the plane stops responding at a certain point. You’re left hanging in mid-air for about 4 or 5 seconds, unable to complete the turn, which leaves you incredibly vulnerable or gives the enemy a huge gap to escape.
I’m not sure if the issue is that I’m the only one on my team climbing to altitude, meaning I run into players up there who actually know how to play—and don’t just dive for the first plane they see—turning my poor G-14 into an easy target.

probably one of the if not the worst 109 in game after the italian g14/as

its just what if g6
but at 5.3

against the spit im pretty sure you are
against the yaks
the normal yak3 and the yak3p are a bit worse than you
but 3u and 3vk will ruin your day
idl about the p47m but it never gave me a problem

ill test that rlly quick

idk i tried it
this does look like an user error on your side
even tho i agree that the 109s after the g6 all have pretty poor super low speed control sometimes

This has happened to me several times: it occurs when I dive to attack someone, they dodge the attack and follow me as I climb, and I start spiraling upward to avoid getting hit. When both the enemy and I run out of airspeed, I use the elevator to initiate a loop; however, right when I start the loop and try to roll the plane into a vertical dive, the roll control stops working. This leaves the plane hanging vertically in mid-air, as it is banked sideways and the nose won’t drop.
I don’t know if it’s a bug or if Bf 109s actually lost roll authority at low speeds.

I managed to replicate it during the test flight. Towards the end of the video, you can see me aiming the mouse downwards and pressing the roll button to flip the plane upside down and head in that direction; the plane keeps flying in a straight line without responding, until it suddenly snaps its nose toward the position where the mouse was aimed.

The exact same thing happened to me while facing a P-47M—specifically while performing a loop. The plane got stuck, just like in the video, but with the nose pointing higher up; this allowed the P-47M to complete its loop, regain its lost speed, and pull away. During the subsequent passes I made at him, I couldn’t escape his counterattack after the fourth climb, as he had enough energy to remain almost stationary in the air and aim easily at very low speeds, whereas I could barely move.

weird
this never happened to me

do you use keybinds for turn?

oh no mb
its just you reaching the stall speed of the g14

I do use it to control the roll.

You want to half roll the aircraft to the right and lower the nose toward the ground. However, the rudder is deflected to the left. In other words, the rudder is pointing upward. In this condition, the nose will not go down.

The instructor may sometimes interfere with your controls. In a simulator without instructor intervention, operating the rudder will cause the nose to drop straight down. In this video, they are applying left rudder in short, repeated inputs while being careful to avoid a spin.

I suspected it might be the instructor. I recall that quite a few years ago, the instructor worked much better,I could perform a hammerhead without any issues. Now, when I try to do a hammerhead, the instructor turns the plane, making it impossible to drop the nose using only the rudder, because the system automatically moves the elevator on its own.

rn you need to use keyboard controls for that stuff
btw you should consider setting up basic keybinds for turn and rudder too
its going to help you a lot with such maneuvers
