Well you’re saying that two mediocre planes which a below average player has no issues fighting are overpowered, so I really doubt that you’re qualified in any way to say what is and isn’t good.
just lmao to all of that, yeah the f8f and f4u4 are mediocre, bro stop embarrassing yourself your profile shows you’re just so American main nood
What I think is embarrassing is you broadcasting your skill issue against two mediocre planes to everyone on the forums.
again you don’t have a positive k/d in any plane I have 2/1 in my su27 I think I know what’s good
This is a great show. All im gonna say is I spaded my su6 yestersay and i had to fight wyverns and f8f every match, did not have any issue with having to see undertiered german superprops at 4.0.
Damn, losing to Bearcats and Corsairs in an Su-27 must be pretty embarassing.
Germany didn’t have super props as the jumo222 and db604 were failures, spurring the development of jet engines
how can you go into a battle and not be able to confidentiality get a single kill, like we have enough bots
How do you go into battle and confidently die to a Bearcat of all planes?
We have performance based BR and not historical. That would be like having the ta152 c3 at 4.7 without an air spawn, that some of these super props get.
it has, great climb, turn and energy retention, you’re a bad player who can’t make it of it though, SAD!
I was just explaining
Well then, continue to struggle against a mediocre plane. Just know that you’re alone, and even noobs such as myself aren’t facing issues against em.
Can you two, like, get a room?
Maybe go and record some duelios and post them to youtube and share.
Small mistake:
We have PLAYERS performance based BR*
I can out do it 100% of the times in 190 D9.
Cause they are on the wings and do less damage. it’s 2+2 as well 2 13mm + 2 20mm. Not necessarily better, but more accurate for sure.
not more accurate that’s frankly insane they have like 300 less m/s velocity, and the d9 will lose a dogfight to the d28 while still being unable to out climb it
How? I get the “actually hitting your targets” part, but .50 cals are the literal worst weapons past like ~2.7. I wouldn’t be surprised if you were talking about 20mm cannons (in terms of the hits to kill), but there is no way a .50 cal is taking less than a dozen hits outside of a pilot snipe or engine hit (which happens for cannons too).
I recommend to analyze the battle summaries in the inbox of the UI of war thunder.
Most people assume that hits, crits and severe damage would be separate things, they aren’t. So single hit can create a fire, which might result in a crit and often in a severe damage.
So whilst having flown the IT P-47 D-30, the UK P-47 and the US P-47 D-28 for combined ~ 900 matches the 2 hits for a fighter kill are a long term observation. AP-IT rules 😎
As evidence for my claim: My last match (replay link) in the D-28 granted me a kill with 2 hits on a 109 - whilst adding a severe damage. The P-63 i hit earlier with 2 hits created a fire with a delayed crit followed by a delayed severe damage (BnZ attacks btw).
Whilst flying the 3.3 Hellcat it looks like the “hit to kill” threshold is around 3-4 for a fighter thanks to early war belts with just a fraction of AP-IT in the belt.
Same as with the A-20 G which i use as heavy fighter (my goal is to ace the plane like the 4 others mentioned before) - but with having just ~ 200 matches combined with the Hellcat this estimation is not really reliable.
Except I do that (on occasion, not every time) and the game already tells you when you get a pilot snipe. I’d say at minimum 40% of my kills in the P-47 are pilot snipes, and it really shouldn’t be that high if .50 cals did good damage.
