Better bush placement — automatically clip bushes to the vehicle's shape

Current problem:
The current decoration placement system prevents bushes from being placed in certain areas when the decoration intersects with surfaces of the vehicle. This forces players to leave visible gaps between bushes, even when the intention is simply to create continuous camouflage around the vertical profile of the vehicle.

My suggestion is not to remove placement restrictions, but to improve the existing system through automatic clipping.

Instead of completely preventing a bush from being placed when it intersects with a restricted part of the vehicle, the game could automatically clip or hide only the portion of the decoration that intersects with that part.

For example, if a bush is placed across the turret and partially intersects with the gun barrel, the bush could remain attached to the turret while the portion overlapping the barrel is automatically hidden. The same principle could be applied to tracks, optics, machine guns and other restricted components.

This would essentially make the current placement system more flexible without removing its existing limitations.

The purpose would not be to allow bushes to cover restricted vehicle components. Those components would still have priority over decorations. The only change would be how the game handles the part of a decoration that intersects with them.

Instead of:

Bush intersects restricted area → placement rejected

It could become:

Bush intersects restricted area → intersecting portion is automatically clipped

This could also improve the visual appearance of decorations by allowing them to follow the vehicle’s silhouette more naturally, without requiring the player to manually create gaps around every small component.

A more extensive visual rework could potentially make bushes conform more realistically to the vehicle’s geometry. However, such a solution may not currently be practical due to technical, performance or server-side considerations. Automatic clipping could therefore serve as a relatively simple and practical improvement to the existing system without requiring a complete visual rework of the decoration system.

This approach could also be useful as an intermediate solution while keeping the possibility of more advanced decoration rendering in the future.

This would not remove or reduce the value of existing decorations. Players who obtained bushes through War Bonds, events, Battle Passes or other methods would still be able to use them as before. Players who purchased decorations would not lose access to them or have their existing decorations removed or replaced.

The proposal is simply to improve the placement and rendering system for decorations that players already own.

It could also make the system more future-proof, since new vehicles often have increasingly complex shapes and external components. Rather than creating additional placement restrictions for every new vehicle, automatic clipping could allow the existing decoration system to handle these interactions dynamically.

In short, this would be an improvement to the current decoration system rather than a change to the availability, ownership or functionality of bushes.

The goal is to make decoration placement more intuitive and visually consistent while keeping the existing restrictions on important vehicle components.
