In my recent experience it F-2 won’t make it past a few turns anyway BUT it doesn’t even matter because those Fox 2s it has are straight up superior and get my ass before any merge in the first place. Genuinely shook me when I encountered them. Also I swear that F-2s have a reduced IR signature.
So how would this list be today?
idk brs changed alot but for 14.0 to 13.0 i think the JAS39 would still be top

id say new list is the JAS39 then the F2 cause its insane turn rate then the F18 then everything below 14.0 is same and you remove the EFT and rafale cause there 14.7 now unless where gonna bring this to modern toptier
Same except the rafale dropped to like 6th, and now the MiG-29Kr or whichever one has the absurdly strong engines is at like #7.
In terms of STR the list goes

F-2
In terms of ITR… I dunno, most TSS chuds consider STR to be more important so they rank aircraft via STR.
For >14.0 it should be 29KR, F-2, and then Grippy.

The F-14 is good but it’s far from the best.
Nah they still consider the KR worse, iirc it has a narrower speed band it can keep near optimal, meaning it cant trade in energy for position well enough for its “better” STR to matter against near rivals.
Like, an F-2 can sit at a SEP of -40, and that will be enough to drain the KR of energy while denying it a shot.
well at the time you had a bunch of planes at same br pre AIM-54 buff and it was just infinitely worse than most of them it was horrible plane to play at 13.0 as you where facing rafales EFTs it was a geniuine night mare and because the br cap was 14.0 i had said lower them to 12.7 again as its a nightmare but he said it was too good so i put basically every comptent dogfighter i could think of and yeah the F14 did not get ranked very high as the F14 literally had its best weapon being the AIM-7M which made it unplayble in FOX-3 lobbys and it didnt have AOA button either so it was just screwed in every scenario and could not keep up with AOA spam

Every professional player I’ve spoken to has said the KR beats the F-2. (Of course, assuming it’s played correctly.)
Lemme put it this way:
The 29KR can beat the F-2, if played perfectly. But, otherwise the F-2 will win.
You think the SM2 could be worthy of a top 10, or to even be on the list?
the funny thing about the Su-30SM2 is that it can just decide to point its nose at you and shoot
but it takes some skill to know when to do it
and also its general flight performance for dogfights besides that are not the best, which makes it difficult to rank

My thought as well, usually in air RB I rarely lose 1v1’s against basically anything, but that’s because R-73’s, 3rd party and paid actors are factors, unlike in duels.
when you say MIG-29 KR you mean the 9-15 ? ive never heard of the KR
no he means the Mig-29KR when he says Mig-29KR

the 29SMT is 13.3 and always was
same avionics as the 29SMT
and it carries the normal r-77 and not the r-77-1

Dang, they could upgrade the engine but not the avionics, that’s so sad. I thought it was better. 13.7 seems good now
Even still, the R77 on a good airframe with good avionics would be 14.0 worthy imo. We still have planes at 14.0 with AIM120A/B which are better in many situations but also aren’t that good, especially in uptiers
