Why is the belgian F-16AM still missing its radar HMD mode and the sniper targeting pod? Even though there are multiple reports from 2 years ago on the bug reporting website and the norwegian F-16AM was added in the meantime with radar HMD and the sniper targeting pod. Why was the belgian F-16AM not just given the sniper targeting pod and radar HMD when the norwegian one was added? The norwegian F-16AM is the at the same battlerating as the belgian one, so it is also not a balancing decision.

Honestly I think it was gaijin making artificial differences. I was in support of both getting HMD but gaijin actually gave it the incorrect CM amount in exchange for the HMD. Belgian one with HMD would need to lose its flares which isn’t worth it. Besides 13.3 is a better BR than 13.7 with only 45 CM.
oh i didn’t even notice the norwegian one has less countermeasures. I don’t exactly know how these countermeasure dispenser work but looking at the model of the belgian F-16AM it should have the same amount of countermeasures as the norwegian one, because i can see two dispensers. But some other f-16’s in game also have those 2 dispensers but for some reason have 60 CM, which i guess is because the difference in caliber? meaning if it are small caliber countermeasures the dispenser can hold 30 of them and if large it can hold 15. And it looks like the US F-16C has four dispensers which is why it has 120 countermeasures, so the belgian F-16AM should either have 60 or 45 countermeasures. If this is more realistic than in my opinion the amount of countermeasures should be reduced on the belgian F-16AM.
And personally i would rather have less countermeasures but get radar HMD and sniper pod especially since the F-16AM’s can carry the PIDS+ for extra countermeasures, though at the cost of a missile or two. and the belgian F-16AM in its current form in the game unfortantely can’t go down to 13.3 because of its aim-9m’s, the other f-16’s in game at 13.3 don’t have the 9m’s (and also have less countermeasures and no HMD of any kind), meaning the beglian F-16AM is better than those and should therefore probably remain 13.7
My bad forgot the F16 was also at 13.7 but let me tell you the HMD would be worth it if it was 80 CM not 45, 15 large flare only and 30 chaff. And losing one of your missiles for a PIDS pod just to bring you on par with the F-16C which gets HMD, and full countermeasures? Trust me there’s a reason the F16AM for Norway is called the 2nd worst F16 at 13.7 first being the ICU which also has 45 CM but only IR HMS not Radar HMS like the Norwegian one nor does it have PIDs pods.
Regardless if I could I’d rather lose the HMD and get 120 CM HMD just isn’t worth having no offense nor losing a missile just to still be worse than the 16C at the same BR.
