Begleitpanzer 57 Structural refinement

doesnt seem like you know what ur talking about

uhhh type 89?
type 16?
centauro?
vextra 105?

some of those are 9.7 and begleit still beats them lol

yeah bet?
ive seen my bagel dump 10 AP rounds into a type 16s (or a centauro, dont remember very well) front and the engine absorbs it all
the bagel spalls like crazy too, you think ur safe with the sacrificial commander poking out but no. even 3BM40 can spall straight down

you have a k/d of less than <0.70 mind you
and also, i have played a bunch of german vehicles on another account. I have quite the idea on what im talking about here, especially looking at the performance of others in Begleits.

A) some of these are 9.7
B)

maybe not dump all the rounds in the engine area, and actually aim at the turret too?

C) as much as i love the centauro and vextra, they are definetly not the best 9.3-9.7 vehicles lol

matters not very much since i primarily grind.
and who brings up leaderboards 🤣
those are for sweats only

oh and please show your performance on the bagel on those other accs

i am aware, bagel faces these, unless u got preferential matchmaking

turret was angled and at distance so i couldnt pen reliably with the dispersion

id take them over the bagel as it is currently.

its too damn slow to do what its supposed to do. it was supposed to accompany leos as a support vehicle but it falls behind like a guy in a wheelchair (no offense to wheelchair guys, mad respect to your arms)

Gaijin sure has its ways with comically large horizontal drives on German vehicles.

The changes in the Begleit are unneccesary, as the inside was already preatty cramped, also with all the ammo lying around.

true (i want my apcbc back )

This must be a joke.

Hard argument to make on a canceled vehicle

Why?
It was made.
The system in question wad made and by all sources of its final stage, it was mounted.
Why is it a hard argument?

It aint.
Bagel aint the best.
Prove its the best or prove me wrong.

But the problem is it wasn’t made. A single prototype was and there isn’t a lot of information about said prototype.

Prototypes also commonly don’t get all of their systems as some things haven’t been finished yet. Even if they were eventually supposed to get them. Hence the drama over the F20 and AIM-120’s.

Do you have a historical source that says the Ziess tracker was finished/installed/worked? I can find very little info to substantiate the claim that it “historically” had IRST

Also, the Bofors 57mmL70 does utilize a FCS for the gun, even in the manual mode. And since the Begel’s was exposed outside the turret, it would be a very hard argument to claim it didn’t have one.

We have a whole list of documents on the bagel and its fcs on our german armour discord.
If you want to see you may join.
Also it technically isnt IRST but rather a form of radar that meaustes the doppler shift of a helicopters rotor blades and uses that info to detect and track helicopters.
(Disclaimer it may also have had IRST in the FCS).

That’s why I said it’s a hard argument to make.

There just doesn’t seem to be much evidence suggesting it had IRST. Especially since there was only a single prototype produced.

And IRST was relatively new and in very little service in the 70’s

FINALY A NERF TO THE BEGLEIT,man u have a cry about it? It’s one of the most OP tank in game and this nerf to the internal of the Begleit is good

Well ive invited you to see for yourself about that fact.
Ill also be looking into it dw.

Begleitpanzer was made a full decade after the first irst systems bruh.

And yet my point remains

Gaijin is probably basing it on the drivers console of the old TAMs. Very likely, the Begleit has a similar console.

TAM_VCTP-2
tam-10

before that they should nerf 2s38 pt7657

The 2s38 it’s perfectly balanced
