Baz Meshupar (AN/APG-63 PSP) radar missing TWS

ISRAEL IS SO BACK
first a new F-16 with Aim-120s and Derby’s and a crap ton of countermeasures, then a Sholef V1 velocity fix, then a BAZ fix!!! Finally can use Aim-120s to an actual effect on that plane!

I’ve also been looking for the source. I found this bug report but it’s not clear whether it caused the change or not. https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/QXz6Gyt7TzIq

Well Baz Meshupar has finally been fixed after a long, long time.

Good news for Israel as a tech tree, maybe us Israeli mains are not completely screwed after all. :)

So the Baz meshupar should now be a F15C but with a F15A FM?

It was probably a decision made to give the Meshupar TWS. All PSP radars should be capable of TWS, but they only want to have it available on the AIM-120 carriers

The source is the PSP radar being capable of TWS. They never received a new radar which he is correct about. But the whole point of PSP was being easily upgraded compared to older radars, such as with TWS and HMD systems.

Does it have the F-15a FM? It’s a F-15C, and it has F-15C engines and CFTs and all

I’m not 100 percent sure, since i watched one video on it and it appeared to pull harder and didn’t look as has heavy compared to an F15C, and the turn time made it look to be a slightly heavier F15A(tho i don’t think i should trust the stats)

we won boys, meshupar got fixed

(Now do we push even further for some wing mounted Derbys? :D)

nah, 120s are better anyway

Well I mean, not in dogfights or close range, the Derby’s are pretty amazing there. They ain’t no Python 4 or thrust vectoring missile, but they’re really good for high off boresight launches compared to the Aim-120 (and good luck getting a kill with an Aim-9M/L in a dogfight, it does not have the best turning circle lol.)
Just being able to take 2 derbys and 2 Aim-9Ms in my F-15C Baz or 1 Derby and 1 Aim-9M would be so nice.

Whatever floats your boat. I NEED PYTHON 4

70G extremely high of boresight smokeless dual-band IRCCM long range danger stick go brrr

Actually Derby, I-Derby and I-Derby ER medium-range guided Air-to-Air Missile for export operators service only

Israel service never fired Derby

Python 4 replace AIM-9M on F-15C Baz Meshupar and Python 4 instead AIM-9M & Derby F-16C/D Block 40 Barak II

Baz Meshupar max BR limited 13.7 and can’t higher 13.7 if 4x AIM-9M replace with Python 4

Except F-16D Block 40 Barak II 2x Python 4 stock instead AIM-9M & Derby, 6x Python 4 replace AIM-9L & AIM-9M and increase BR to 14.0 max

All Israeli platforms are compatible with the Derby should the need to use them arise. Plenty of images of them mounted on Israeli aircraft and tests conducted with them.

I’m aware they have yet to be used in active service, but gaijin doesn’t seem to mind, given their presence on the F-16C/D Barack IIs.

And yes, I’m more than aware of how it mainly became a weapon for the export market (after the US tried to give them Aim-120s so they’d stop making an Aim-120 competitor, but it was too late and they kept developing it anyway lol), and how successful it was as well (such as R-Darter development, and many many other countries that use the Derby and Python missiles)

I thought the Python 4 was more close the the AAM-3 if anything, while the P5 is the crazy drugged version of the 4.

F-16C Block 40 Barak stay BR 13.7 if 2x AIM-9L & 2x Python 4 stock instead 2x AIM-9M & 2x AIM-120, Python 4 replace 6x AIM-9M but removed AIM-120A & Derby

For F-16D Barak II, 2x Python 4 stock instead 2x AIM-9M & 2x Derby, removed AIM-7M & Derby and Python 4 replace 6x AIM-9L sidewinder.

But 6x AIM-9M replace with Python 5 and decompressing max battle rating to 14.3 next year, my guess

At least F-15I Ra’am and F-16I Sufa mounted AIM-120B AMRAAM

I predict Python 4 better AAM-3 6% or 7%

Python 5 comparable to IRIS-T, R-74 and PL-10/PL-10E. Maybe
