Battle ratings around 12.0 and 13.0 are unacceptable and the nation matchmaking is too

I feel like I’m probably gonna get bad feedback with this, but this needs to be said and I want to clarify. 12.0 planes like the f-14b, MiG-29 and f-16 are fine where they are. But I see no reason as to why American 12.0 planes like the F-4J and F-4S have to face f-15A’s, Su-27’s, AV8B Harriers. The missiles the f-4j and f-4s have can’t compete with the missiles those planes have (F-15 gets Aim-7M, Aim-9m, Su-27 with r-27er/et and r-73’s, AV-8B gets aim-9m and Aim-120’s) Not to mention they already struggle enough fighting f-16’s, f-14’s and mig-29’s. In some cases against those 12.0 planes they can win. But it’s still a struggle. I think gajin needs to bring the F-4s and F-4j back to 11.3 where they won’t be overpowered but won’t be overwhelmed in game. Also the matchmaking with the nations is awful too. Absolutely no reason to have mixed battles at 10.3 up to 14.0. I know for a fact im not the only wt player who’s getting sick and tired of facing the same nation they’re playing and the same aircraft they play around 10.3 to 14.0 every single time. Gajin needs to overhaul that too. I know I might get bad feedback from this, but I feel like this is a change that absolutely needs to be done.

At 11.3 they would actually be quite overpowered since they currently are the best 12.0 phantoms in the game
Be glad you arent forced to use the F-4(J-U(n)K or the F-4EJ ADTW or its tech tree counterpart

I completely agree with what you’re saying which is why I’ve been sticking to my f-16c. Anything 13.0 - 12.0 is a headache to play. I’m tired of playing the same maps over and over as well as facing the same nations. There needs to be some sort of friend or foe system implemented too because accidental team kills are getting out of control.

That’s a real funny one.

Trigger discipline it’s one of the new “things” players have to learn when entering the missile era, you can’t just take it away and if someone commits too many teamkills he’ll be banned for a few days.

How are you supposed to have trigger control over an ARH missile that’s gone pitbull?

Don’t shoot it at an enemy if he’s near your teammates.

F-4J/S do need to be moved down, by being moved up alongside almost every plane, but I think 11.7 is a good minimum. I’d like to mention that 11.3 sees: F-5Es with 2x AIM-9Js (AIM-9Ps if export) for best missiles (or 9P-4 and Pythons for the FCU), Tornado IDS WTD 6.1s with 2x AIM-9Ls, MiG-21Bis with 6x R-60Ms, Jaguar IS with 2x Magic 2s, J35XS with 6x AIM-9Js, and so on. The trend with all these missiles is in the guidance; all of them are Infrared. The Phantoms carry AIM-7Fs, with a max of 6, that are SARH guided AAMs, the most comparable planes at 11.3 are the MiG-23M(F) with 2x R-23Rs and the F-104S with 4x? AIM-7Ds (correct me if I’m wrong)

Simply put: IFF. Learn it. Gaijoob does not need to synthetically implant an Ace Combat-esque marker system for the missiles nor do they need to go the Arcade route and make it so that they can’t lock friendlies period. Also learn timing, don’t fire a missile if you know a teammate is about to pass, don’t fire at an enemy with a friendly close in engagement, if with SARH break lock as soon as it shows signs of going A-10. It’s not hard to avoid teamkills if you know what you’re doing

These aren’t that bad rn

Is your suggestion for air RB? if so, seek decompression of the battle ratings, not compression of them to ruin them further.
