Battle Pass Season 23: Apollo’s Chariot and Its Warbond Shop!

This is the first Greek aircraft in game, the first Greek vehicle for Israel and the first IXc clipped wing.

This can be a viable suggestion or option for the future. This aircraft was always planned to be a Rank IV premium and we do not have any plans to downgrade it to what would be a Rank III F Mk IXc.

It is correct as is as an LF IXc with a Merlin 66. The most effective and popular of the series.

ngl the “downgrade” puts it at a healthier BR for props, as its not gonna see 7.0 jets or suffering mk24s efor most air matches.

universal wing vs universal wing is not helping gaijins case im sorry…

not saying anything, sorry heli bros you arent aircraft because gamemodes.

from the great turntime, clip wings lose that… the LFs are gonna suffer in the 6.7-7.0 premium jet vacuum

any chance of more spitfire variants that have been ignored for 14 years? Id love to see the seaplane variants of the spitfire to honour the planes origins as a racing seaplane

This was introduced long before we announced our plans and considerations for Greek vehicles to be introduced to the Israeli tree: [Development] Community Update No.8: Responses and What’s Coming! - News - War Thunder

The same is true of many vehicles that may have been introduced to another nation before.

unless a nation has a subtree position it goes to nation the vehicle originates from.

for example look at the state of canada

Should we really repeat the same scenario as Canada is currently in?

Its not a case, its just correcting your earlier claim. Which was not correct.

We’ve had multiple new Spitfire variants introduced over those 14 years. This certainly wont be the last.

And is the large negative response to the Greek subtree for Israel being noted?

Not at all. I wouldn’t wish that trepement on anyone, not even my worst enemy.

Not only is it ripped across multiple nations, but its modern tech was sold to those interested at $100CAD each, and you can’t even use them in a line-up together(the bare minimum you expect, from paying $200 in a line-up-based game).

Is this a new variant?

reward skin isnt. but skins dont matter apparently (hopium for hawk 200 family)

they are most popular because of the healthy nature of the 5.7 matchmaker and turnfighters being meta (stop trying to turnfight the spitfires guys its not that hard) 6.0 will make them suffer from being secure within the MB326 and albatross matchmaker.

This is a new sub variant we don’t have in game currently (IXc CW, we have IXe CW)

ah i see

This isn’t anything new at all. A plethora of vehicles across the game have skins from different or similar variants. Including past BPs. A skin of the intended variant is always included.

G17 and G19X are different pistols but act the same.
It is glock, and it shoots 9mm.

Just like that,
It is spitty IX, and it has CW.

In developing-wise, ofc those are different Spitty.

In gameplay terms, both will act almost the same.

I highly doubt it. They chose Greece simply because it’s easy and cheap to add, given the amount of copy/paste they’ll add. This battle pass is proof of that. They’ve always turned a deaf ear to what the community thinks about what a bad idea adding Greece to Israel is, especially when people were asking for Chile.

when was the last new mark added? I cant think of a fully new spitfire being added the whole time ive played war thunder (2022)

does feel like this was a monkeys paw grant.

The same is true for most similar variants of an aircraft family. Even other existing Spitfires. That however doesn’t stop people from suggesting, requesting and wanting to see them.
