Torpedo kills are not exactly hard but can take some time: the projectile is slow so by the moment you have a good distance to engage where the target is close enough and so can’t evade this same target would probably be so damage that someone else would have destroyed the vessel by the moment the torpedo hits. Which is more or less caused by the gamemode as a whole and how most of the maps is ‘open sea’. My only issue is that is specifically for bluewater vessels.
I believe the Battlepass should be split and THREE separate Battlepasses made available with the challenges being specifically for vehicles in that category. I.E. Ground, Air and Naval Battlepasses. I think the majority of players here specialise, or at least main in one of the three which means anyone who doesn’t play Naval or Air for example, doesn’t get a chance to complete those challenges (and the progress on the Battlepass that this enables) as they don’t have the required level of vehicles (without buying them). I’ve just posted this in the suggestions section and it’s with mods for approval.
Unfortunately not everyone has the time to invest in playing all three branches of War Thunder and I just feel that we shouldn’t be penalised on Battlepass progress for not being able to make such a big time investment. We already invest plenty of time in doing the two daily and one special tasks. I’m happy to do the extra time to do the additional challenges but to have to play air and naval to a given level to do that currently is a bridge too far.
That’s great. But if you don’t play Naval and don’t know what you’re doing, it still requires investment in time to learn. That’s time I’d rather spend playing ground battles, which is why I (and no doubt others) play WT.
Same as others have already stated:
Arcade. Spawn a destroyer with torpedos of adequate range and fire them from maximum distance at the spawn region of the enemy. If you have Japan, use them!
In the three games I played I got 3, 3, 4 torp kills.
i honestly have no idea how you do that. i have the aviere with 6 torpedoes, and no matter where i shoot them in the spawn region, they have no way of hitting. aside from them taking at least 10 minutes to get there, the spawn region is so astronomically huge that theres no way they would just happen to hit
For torps? It has three per side. That isn’t going to be doing the trick.
If you still can get the Hatsuzuki from the phone app as a reward, that might fill the bill a bit better. rank 3,
