So you’re mad that Sherman’s have a working defense against a tanks that essentially outclasses them in every way? Slower, weaker round, weaker armor… hide your barrel and you won’t have a problem. Since everyone and their mother uses a panther. Sherman players essentially have to play on point to score kills because we have to do everything right. You basically need to angle and you’re fine. Was having every other advantage not enough? Obviously you’re a German player, you used a panther as the example.

R3 has over 60mm of effective armor on the front, from the side maybe if it’s flat but not like they’ll sit there.
Clearly they made an attempt but after the first shot their barrel was wrecked permanently.

If heavy tank gets the first shot off there is not much left to repair. Did you try flanking with a heavy because if you did there is more chance of meeting light tanks
So they failed, issue on their part.
You can 7.62 the side, the rear and the front drivers glass. If you want them to sit there, you can shoot the tires, transmission, driver, and engine.

Easier said than done with like 8 degrees of turret rotation vs an R3.

do the pleasure of learning to play instead of complaining about everything, I would add that the barrel of the tanks is already too resistant given that the bullets tend to self-bounce because they are modelled in a cylindrical shape, without the barrel shattering due to the impact or when a large HE explodes next to him he doesn’t even get damaged.

It is just a skill issue as the first shoot solved the whole fight. If someone fails with such a shoot, then there is no difference if he is standing in front of R3, M4A2 or Pz IV F2
Historical thing disappears really fast in GF.
