Balance new SPAA with Loaded Helis from Spawn

SPAA is crazy over-powered right now following Leviathans update. Helis can’t even hover 5 feet off the ground behind trees without being targeted and destroyed. So - you won’t nerf SPAA because it’s making you money, well — then at least unleash helis from game start. The most prominant example is BRING BACK STARSTREAKS at spawn. It’s the only prayer of killing the new SPAA spawners. Balance the game again!

what would be sick if you could like spawn a truck with missiles for the elde 98 so u could rearm easier but it could also be destroyed

Z-10ME is completely immune to IR missiles

Shot 7 IRIS-T SL at a 3km range with a radar soft lock. All missed. Like where is the DL? IOG?

That would mean buffing the air defenses to their real life levels, and thus most helicopters would be smoking hulks littering the terrain.

With what would 20 kms extra range help you defeat a heli at 5??? I don’t see the logic here.

If you’re going to “buff helicopters to irl standards” that means the air defenses that operate against them should also be functioning at “irl” standards.

Which means fixed IIRCM, fixed heat signatures, fixed tracking modes etc

I’m all about it. But modern air defense is lethal against rotary wing.

And i don’t doubt that. It already is pretty lethal, but the point is that buffing those things would not affect the “pop up” tactic with let’s say an Apahce together with the AGM-114L or JAGM.
If we are buffing everything to irl standards then the jets should get all their A/G weapons at least, but this is besides the point

I don’t know about that. Jets are already extraordinarily lethal and we just got the first improvement that has brought some sort of real air defense to several nations. I would argue until all of the nations have a decent air defense spread CAS doesn’t need any more toys. I would eventually like to see SEAD/DEAD tools and weapons but I don’t want to go right back to the CAS cancer that’s been a habitual problem. For atleast a short while we have relative parity at the top BR

I think it would be fair to improve performance of both helicopters and AD systems though.

F&F helicopter munitions & data link, scout drone (MUMT) and scout functions for actual scout helicopters like the 58 as well as buddy lasing would be great. Give proper ASE for upper tier Brs and adjust the MAWs/ASE for lower tier helicopters. (Looking at you Russian and Chinese helicopters who’s IR jammers work in a 360 sphere even when blocked by the airframe)

As would fixing IR signatures and seeker modes / IIRCM for missile systems and fixing the issue with lower tier gun based SPAA not having even a rough version of a lead computing gunsight they’ve had since the 40’s.

True, but buffing the IRIS-T for say to have a 40 km range is pretty… how can i say it? Pretty Pantsir in nature. No spaa in the game would come even close to it in performance and no jet beside the Rafale with the HAMMERs and the Sukhois with the KH-38s will be able to counter it(not even these 'cause they can’t lock that far). God forbid using mavericks in the environment, similar to how pretty much every other nation uses not just the U.S

I’d also like to see the damn trees fixed so helicopters can hide behind cover.

Frustrating. Being tracked and engaged behind obstacles that will destroy your aircraft if you collide with them but provide no cover.
