BAe Sea Harrier - Technical data and discussion

Could be they have seen plenty of my reports but they did not believe them until I found the E-M diagram they very quickly changed tone with that one. But the Harriers ability to dogfight in mouse aim is trash as they can barely even pull to their buffet onset.
16 degrees AOA is all the mouse aim gives you yet the max load factor chart gets you a whole 21 degrees AOA to play with.

The A-7’s do, function practically flawlessly (outside of the ballistic pipper and Flight path maker being swapped, but that seems to be common to many HUDs for some reason).

Yeah, I think you spammed them jsut enough. Too much and you get banned, not enough and they ignroe you

Walking the tight rope. Will have to see during live when I can test with local host and all that.

The argument about AOA will be easy as I have all the data on that one.

Im just hoping they dont pull a CR2.

It had an amazing remodel on the dev server and then never made it to live.

If they do that I will probably just uninstall war thunder lol.

Yep, same. Its basically the only thing that is holding my interest this major update. without it, I doubt i would tocuh the game in a few months, especially given the CAPTOR-M hasnt gotten any TLC yet

The HUDS too they really went out of their way to spoil us select few who enjoy it.

If they change everything that should be changed + add AOA and viff.

It would become a very popular plane. (Would also give them lots of premium sales)

Yeah and given its our only fighter between 9.7 and 12.0. It needs every advantage it can get

Yeah, i’ve been fighting for that for a while. Especially before the BR changes for ground. with a 10.3 line-up the FRS1e was the only option for a fighter, but you couldnt run CAP followed by CAS in the Jaguar GR1A because of the classification. But thus far, its fallen on deaf ears. People see the FRS1 as the RN GR3 and not as a different aircraft or see “strike” in the designation and use it as an excuse for the strike aircraft class. Even though the FGR2 and FGR4 and FG1 are all fighters with “ground” in their names

I also think the Harriers have been disappointing to basically anyone who has played them.

So in that regard they maybe just got dismissed and forgotten about as they were second rate planes no one wanted to main.

Yeah, but with the inclusion of them on the Japanese tree and more pressence in the US and Italian TT. I think their flaws have started to be revealed to more people as well

Definitely and the Harrier 2 are some of the best dog fighters. Even back when they were sustaining the wrong G with twice the throttle input they should have been lol.

So after the buff the Harrier will have better TWR than the Typhoon in some conditions and will just absolutely clobber the enemy.

If they give it the thrust vectored maneuverability it would be probably the most meta dogfighting aircraft at BR 12-13

Which it certianly deserves

Yes Britain above like 9.0 just became the struggle bus for many years.
9.7-13.0 is likely going to see Britain/USA/Japan start to dominate a little vs just be free kills.

Yeah im looking forward to dusting off the Harrier Gr1, SHars, Gr7 and also buying the T10 if its at 11.7 with 9Ls

Gr.1 with 4 missiles will be fun when you can basically choose when you want to fight someone.

You can out sustain most other planes at 9.7 too. So if you can draw a dogfight get them slow and just pull in the vertical they are stalling and you are flying straight up at 300 mph and gaining.

I could see that putting them up in BR pretty significantly.
One of the most maneuverable missiles in game pulls of the rail is all aspect with double the range lol. That would cause an immediate back lash.
