I agree, but we also need to bring more public attention to this. People think the Harrier was a flying brick and not much better in the air than the Yak 38

Which WT HUD does… Even the new Hornet HUD - while being a vast improvement - has its bugs and issues.
Also, generally there should be a NAV mode for the HUDs. In WT HUD operation is dependent on stores selection exclusively. So out of ammo, out of luck selecting something useful to show on the HUD…

No, pure speculation, but would make a bit of sense.
Its kinda stupid to do all this work for the new HUD and not code functional EEGS at the same time and with a total lack of any gun sight, just makes sense why its not been added yet
I agree completely lol but we will have to see.
Maybe they can fix the smoke and IR issues while they are doing all this for the harriers.
That is my hope. Smoke should take them 2 seconds, god knows why it has taken this long,
IR sigs I get taking longer, especially as the F-117 solution only just became available, but certainly worth pestering them about this update

Yeah if there has ever been a time to pester them about the harriers it’s not I was not expecting a major Harrier overhaul this update.
Along with the AOA limit thing on the SUs it could be possible to get them to finally model VIFF and the harriers max AOA correctly.
They might, I think that is more likely to come with a future major update, following a fresh batch of post-update reports. Similar to what we had with the Tornado.
