Sorry
Can you pass this and nudge it please
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/U3qeSWI30bLg
Gunjob and I talked a bit about all the missing functions, he mentioned he would make an internal report.
All in all the HUD is missing a lot and other sections of it are incorrect.
A small list, if I may.
CCRP bombs missing
CCIP rockets missing
Radar lock symbology steering indicator and flash missing
Compass to large
Gear retractions should not change the HUD mode
Air pressure
Alt wheel missing glide path arrow
The attitude bar should disappear if the sight symbology passes through it to provide better view of the sight picture
Vector indicator (the triangle) should show flight path
CCIP symbology of aiming point in the HUD.
FRS.1 specific:
The FRS.1 should not have a G reading in the HUD
Missing EEGS and CCIL gunsights
Fingers crossed then, though just fixing the currently bugged CCRP interface that was working the dev server last major Is the bear minimum im hoping for from this update.
There was no change to the HUD except that the bugged CCIL doesn’t appear at all.
Ohh and firing the rockets to fast can lead to them exploding on the plane.
And the Digital Mach display is bugged.
Comedy gold
With them increasing the maximum range for the ACM modes. Maybe we can now get this added for the FA2.

Id assume the Typhoon could also get longer ACM/HMD lock ranges too
Definetly need our gunsight added. Even if its just a fixed range sight ASAP. Had a fight tonight that resulted in the Mig-21 I was fighting crashing, but I missed a number of potential gunkill oppotunities because I had to guess where to aim
You’re asking too much. Its not a priority. The Harrier is not a new plane to the game. - Gaijin (probably)
They will eventually fix some of Harriers’ problems if the USMC terminate the ‘retiring plan in 2026’ and decides to make an upgrade of the AV-8C+ into an F-35 level, and label it as AV-8B+++
and Gaijin releasing them as a new rank 8 premium with ARH
Of course, they will fix only for shared problems with AV-8. :P
not for these domestic problems in SHAR or Hawker Harriers.
It’s not as if the AV-8C doesn’t have it’s own issues with the HUD (still trying to re-find a particular source that I saw once that detailed the HUD, so I know it’s out there somewhere), nor the US harriers with (missing) ordnance, and assorted features.
I’m not entirely sure if the UK harriers are similarly impacted but I think they should be.
If you mean HUD issues. Yes many.
If you mean missing loadout. Then yes, quite a few (Like BL755 and Sea Eagles. Possibly also ALARM for the SHars)
If you mean missing features. Then yeah probably. If nothing else you have the FRS1s’ missing EEGS and the SQV FRS1 could get a very similar RWR (maybe even the same) to the AV-8Ss. No idea about SEAM but we could get our Dechirped 9Ls if nothing else
I just wonder why Gaijin allegedly hate Harrier so much. :|
really.
They already gave it 9X and HMD……
there’s one from 1975, found at the following link.
And also two from 1973 for some reason found on Aviation archive.
Yes, that’s the one that the Devs have but can’t read apparently.
I have a revised version that’s newer and has no parts omitted.
It’s enough to strengthen the SEAM report at least (strengthens the likelihood of SEAM for the AV-8A / -8C), and gives a revision AFC 105 / ECP number (800) which narrows things slightly as to what Block the airframe would have to be at a minimum.
As it appears what is currently modeled arbitrarily uses some elements of the revised & original HUDs.
Do we know if the HUD was similarly revised for any of the UK’s 1st gen Harriers? because I could amend the report further if there was evidence to support it, outside the fact that the GR.3 is “similar” to the AV-8C, and that we apear to have a post '74 built or so AV-8A modeled at minimum.
The AV-8A in game is a 71-72 it’s the first Harriers that the USMC put into play.
The C would be a completed upgrade. I think.
Do you have the C in game? Is so I would like you to see if the LIDS deploys.
Yes.
The LIDS is ?
