I just did a sideshot to an F14, simmilar to one i did in the dev server, in dev it ignroed flares, here it want for flares. I can see 9M buffs soon (and i never expected to say that after dev experience)

Heads up, Aim-9Ls may have been removed from custom loadouts, likely due to tier slot change. So check your loadouts before going into matches

Took me 5 minutes to fix my goofy Harrier GR.7 custom loadouts but worth it since we got AIM-9Ms now.
I’ve not got them yet. Having a bad time actually getting into a decent match in SB (either they are all nearly finished or some new weather effects that render the Gr7 unplayable)
(also 11.0 vs 12.3 kinda sucks)

You should try to use the RWR to navigate yourself to a enemy, I’ll be trying that in my J-7E once my TrackIR comes tomorrow. The RWR update will be pretty big for the Harrier GR.7 especially in CAS.

Yeah, was hoping for a little more information than im getting. Every aircraft just pings as “PD” but at least I can tell the difference between air and ground targets as ground targets tag as “AAA”
Harrier Gr7 has got some new cockpit HUD symbology. When you have a CCRP target (like from TIALD pod target) and you have “bomb” sight mode selected, you get a new line that guides you onto the target. Its kinda handy (still no Ballistic comptuer for GBUs, but with the “take 1 normal bomb trick”, the new interface does work for GBUs) for guiding onto a target for a bomb drop.

No doubt about it, definetly britains best jet again by a country mile. Looking forward to getting Aim-9M unlocked.

Yeah, thats my thinking.
New RWR allowing me to see the difference between air and ground pings and new AAMs fixes many of the problems that were putting me off the Gr7 the last few months.
Just need them to disable TV sight when you have TIALD pod, or allow instant swapping between cockpit and TIALD pod with some new keybind options (like a “Shooter” does in helis) and I’d be very happy
