I hate the harrier 2 in sim.
Broken HUD with less features than the Gr.1 and it handles like trash.
If they fixed the HUD and handling it wouldn’t be so bad
theres a reason why the americans adopted it from the british, it was better than anything everyone else could design let alone build

So good in fact they decided to throw money at it like there’s no tomorrow.
Harrier 2 however is 90% American.

still use them as there is no actual replacement for such a plane. Its a tragedy that p1154 didnt get far as a supersonic harrier would have been far better than F-35 could ever be

Yep AV-16 was one as well as the Kingston development team.
We Brit’s created the LERX concept on a Gr.3 that’s as much as we contributed to the harrier 2 in all honesty. Everything else was done by MD and NASA with later input from BAE.
P1154 (the expanded wing variant) would have been exceptional. The engine was even made and it worked. They should have seen the export sales potential and made it. It would have been incredible.

Or any other major harrier fixes.
They gave the sea harrier an unfinished hud and never completed it.
At the end of the day no one is complaining except me so they will never be fixed.

Did the T.10 ever even carry them or was it the T.12?
Do those have gnss?
Might have to take the t10 out in sim again if it does
Our T.10 is a copy of our GR.7 for weapons capability, T.12 will have had the full integration. GR.7 and by extension T.10, used a pocket computer in the cockpit for getting coordinates and programming EPW2.

It is a GNSS weapon yeah. SAL/IOG/GNSS.
