Are you Flogger as in Bob Dickensons’ friend?
Flame is already on the case

hopefully we’ll see it when the br ratings change drop
Probably, I’ll go looking for one. Though since I can’t speak Russian I don’t know exactly what anything means to draw a comparison.
As an aside I don’t exactly know why the Su-25’s are getting preferential treatment here, many reports have been rejected in the past due Gaijin relying solely on the instrument cluster to determine running temperatures, not actual documentation for whatever reason.
Though for harrier 1’s the Engine is limited as follows;
Though considering max continuous thrust is only at 525 degrees it is pretty cold.
engine temps =/= Ir signature. Matrix already tried that before and it didnt work
Nice so now IR sigs are no longer attached to engine thrust or whatever that excuse was for the Harrier’s being hotter than the sun.
Hoping we see them actually fix it for the Harrier’s now.
Anyone know when the t.10 is gonna go on sale? Also, can it target ground targets with the cam in its nose or does it need to bring a pod?
You can use it to fire Mavericks (65G’s), but you need the pod for laser guided stuff.
Do yk if the cam on its nose gives it eegs/lock onto enemy air craft? as far as I can tell it gets no radar
Doesn’t auto track presently, so no EEGS.
Thanks mate. Do you know if it could irl?
Didn’t have that function no.
The camera is the AN/ASB-19 Angle-Rate Bombing System. Serves as a laser-spot tracker, which allows for buddy-lasing (another aircraft or ground unit lases the target, AN/ASB-19 receives signal and allows the aircraft equipped with it to drop LGBs or use LG missiles).
Hmm, true. I never noticed that it doesn’t have an auto tracker.
It used to, but back in the day we had huge issues with the DMT and TIALD breaking each others limits, eventually the DMT auto tracking was turned off in one of the various fixes, its less of an issue these days as the EFT manages just fine with PIRATE/LITENING so I might get a new report logged for it as it seems fixable now.
Speaking of the nose camera has there been anything further about NAVFLIR for the Harriers? Would love to see it in-game for the Harrier II’s
If memory serves, only the AV-8B NA and AV-8B Plus had the built-in FLIR system, unless you’re discussing FLIR from an external targeting pod (which could be given to all Harrier IIs)
Your memory failed you, FLIR is on both GR.7/9.
GR9 right above the DMT;
GR7 same location;
Ah, okay. I was thinking of the GR.5/AV-8B DA, then (in terms of Harrier IIs without FLIR). No idea how I spaced out on the GR.7/9 lol, I think I somehow got their nose sections confused with the GR.5’s.
