I even think that the GR9A with no ASRAAMs would be fine at 13.0 and the ASRAAM version at 13.7+
They used to lose like 50% of their thrust by .7 Mach (not true to IRL) They now lose much less but still need to be buffed more. They also changed the engine temps so you can sit on higher thrust ratings for longer.
The Harrier 1 as it is now can sustain 16 degrees a second with 30% fuel.

Gaijin thought normal lift dry thrust rating was short lift wet and so the harrier STR is only achieved with a thrust rating used exclusively for VTOL 😐
IRL the harrier could sustain these turns with the engine JPT limited to 650 degrees C
I definetly think it would be perfect to come this year. All the pieces are set for it. Im really on fence whether it should get ASRAAM. I would prefer one with and one without, so that I had the choice, but if only one, I think id pick without purely for the more managable BR.
On the grounds its still sub-sonic… I was thinking more like 12.7 with 6x Aim-9Ms, unless BOL got fixed then definetly 13.0 because it can also run a TERMA pod for all-aspect MAWS.

FRS.1 later upgraded with Magics, Derby, & a EL/M-2032 radar sets. Can carry 4xmissles (ARH or IR) using TMC and guns.
Also how can we covince the devs that the GRs II can carry 6 missiles?
From whant i have heard, correct me if i am wrong but is the harriers nozzles in the game all 4 hot instead of beeing 2 cool on the front with hot air on the back making it in game harder to flair missiles?
That was just speculation. Devs have since confirmed that’s not the case.
Its to do with thrust IIRC but does each engine have its own thrust to flare ratio?

The engines didn’t even get that hot in forward flight. Its all to do with Gaijins serious misunderstanding of the Harrier.
The combat plug rating of the Harrier one would automatically limit the jet pipe temps to 650 degrees C regardless of airspeed. In a wartime plug IIRC the engine was “unlocked” and you could force more power by pushing against a spring on the throttle.
So in game the harrier needs short lift wet 745 degrees C to reach a sustained turn the IRL plane could have done with just 650 degrees C.
