Bad players in warthunder TopTier

His most played vehicle is a JU288C used to bomb bases with a 40% winrate. Yes, he is part of the problem. Should have just left this topic to die, though. No need to bump it.

If you just want to screw around, you can go to custom battles.

We don’t want “skill gameplay”, we want to be certain that if we have an ally on our flank, that no enemy is coming from there unless that ally is dead!
We want reliable players that at least try to help, instead of derping around and not noticing what’s happening not even 100 meters from them!

So You want SBMM

Despite the fact that I’ve been playing the game for 1.5 years, I completely understand what you’re writing and what you’re feeling.
I’m a World of Warcraft veteran, I left the game behind after 19 years. Nineteen years of wonderful times and at the same time a bitter breakup. You know, Blizzard made the mistake that Gaijin is only about to make now. Blizzard said: why do we need 8 million players when 500,000 who put money into the game are enough? This is about money, although once, when WoW launched, the developers themselves actively played it. I know what you’re feeling. You’re searching for something you can no longer find, but you still hope that maybe one day… maybe. I don’t judge Gaijin because this is business. But this means they love money more than their own child (the game itself) that they created.

Blizzard is now desperately trying, promising everything, but it’s in vain. The players who formed the backbone of the player base have already trickled away, and in the meantime rivals have appeared. What I currently do is the following: I log in much less often, and meanwhile I keep an eye out for when a new game comes along that captivates me. After WoW, the only one I found was War Thunder, but then I realized that here too they count the money instead of addressing the problems, so I keep my eyes open because a few games are coming this year and maybe one of them will be the one. Of course, none of them will be WoW, but you get it :)

About $500–800 is what I probably won’t be spending on War Thunder anymore… I had planned this month to get a 2S38 and 2 Italian premiums, and usually I helped my crews with Golden Eagles and bought SL boosters on weekends, since I work during the week and like to stockpile SL for events or whatever. But none of this will happen now. I’ve let go of grinding the Italian line, I don’t really want to put money into it this way… If they change some things along the way, like dealing with people who leave after one death, or adding a proper leaderboard, or perhaps a ranked system, then I’ll take it more seriously and reconsider investing significant money into it. But at the moment I just log in and try not to take it seriously.

On the forum, the people who usually support the current system are exactly those who are the one-premium guys. I’m sorry you had to go through this, because I know it’s a terrible feeling when your life’s work is in something. And as for where someone puts their time, it’s pointless to argue. For some, happiness is skiing, for some it’s alcohol, and for some it’s video games. That’s everyone’s private matter, and it’s not worth disputing what fits into someone else’s world.
By the way, many people try to explain with hands and feet why a ranked system or some other skill-based matchmaking isn’t possible, then I asked ChatGPT and it solved it in three seconds. Then they came shouting that it’s wrong, and that AI itself is bad and has no place on the forum anyway :)) Funny, isn’t it? It’s not about the AI, or what it writes… it’s about the fact that there are two kinds of people. One who lives in the problem, and one who lives in the solution. There’s a solution for everything. It could be enjoyable for you again too, but they don’t want it. No matter… there’s an important word in your name: Karma! That applies to everyone… to everyone :))
