B-52H Lacking Munitions - (Heavy Cavalry)

Currently the B-52H sits at a Battle Rating of 8.7 with just dumb bombs, and it lacks the munitions:
(Asterisks = Key/Important Munition(s) to add)

  • AGM-84 Harpoon *
  • GBU-31/38 JDAMs *
  • GBU-54 LJDAMs *
  • GBU-12/10/28 Paveway Series Munitions *
  • AGM-154 JSOW *
  • AGM-86C/D ACLM (Specific to the B-52)
  • Quick Strike Series of Naval Mines(Many Aircraft currently in war thunder are missing this)
  • Various Cluster Munitions(Not Added to the game yet)
  • Nuclear Munitions (For Nuclear Thunder, if Gaijin wants to bring that back)

if they added them the thing would have to go up to atleast like 10.0+, and you wouldnt want that

Jdams are enough. Just so you can drop them in multiple spots without having to do new passes or trying to line ccip sight just perfectly. Plus optics will become more useful. And it wont be smth mega op considering just bit higher, at 9.3 you have small, agile (compared to b52) skyhawk with walleyes, bullpups/gbu8.

The GBUs would increase it’s ground BR to like 10.0 which is why they won’t add them. Harpoons could be added

The version we have never had any guided munitions, it’s pre-1991 fit since it has the tail gun and only carried dumb bombs and ALCM’s.

To get a B-52 with all smart munitions we’d need a separate version without a tail gun but stronger ECM (when that comes):

This would increase its BR, and for that, it would also be necessary to add electric warfare countermeasures to make it work. The most viable solution for the B-52H and the TU-95M currently is a reduction in BR instead of new munitions. In my view, this makes more sense than adding GBUs (Garbled Buoys). The lack of guided bombs and the fact that they are targeting tanks, which are smaller targets instead of buildings, makes targeting them at high altitudes unfeasible anyway. I would make a less drastic change. I would put the TU-95M at 8.0 and the B-52H at 8.3 . This will make them fall with medium-range anti-airs and make flying low more viable
