In what way is giving one team three AMRAAM slingers while the other team has zero?

im guessing youve never played a harrier because 13.0 is still rough for them, even with 4 spaamraams and two aim 9Ms as redundant backups. harriers as a whole don’t turn too well unless its the GR7/B+ and they are slower than everything at that BR. as long as you’re aware and don’t put yourself in a position they can take advantage of you’re fine. also NEVER try and turn fight one, we will just go into hover mode and watch you fall out of the sky from energy loss

Thank you, but I’ve got the USA AV-8B+ (check stats if it pleases you) and I will agree 13.0 is rough, but it’s very easy to walk away with 4 kills and you can beat the Gripen in a one circle (but only once) if you VIF. I miss flying the GR.7, it died for me when the AIM-9M were given to it. But I’m guessing you didn’t know if you keep the throttle around 60% you remain cold enough to flare IR missiles and lets you maintain top speed?
I also have a lot of time in the AV-8B both before and after the update (b/c Italian bias) and i can confidently say that it os probably the best 13.0 rn b/c it carries 4 amraams. And while in the current meta, it’s a lot harder to do, it is a phenomenal dogfighter, and it has probably the best aircraft mounted gun in the game and paired with 180 CMs you have an aircraft that can fight anything and still win

Sure, AV-8B+ has got those fancy new missiles, but it’s still not going to blow any 4th Gen fighter jets out of the water when it comes to gameplay. The engine and shape of the plane are just too old school.

I wouldn’t discount the AV-8B+ so easily, it can hang with the right pilot. What I want is for teams to not be wildly unbalanced with only one side having 10 AMRAAM’s at their disposal when the others have zero.
