This is a super small change that would be a pretty decent quality of life improvement
Currently, in the game right now, when you spawn in an Urban-tagged map (Berlin, Advance to the Rhine, etc), and don’t have an ‘Urban’ camo (most tanks in the game don’t), the automatically selected camo will be the camo that appears on the vehicles stat card in the tech tree, the ‘default’ camo.
For most vehicles, this isn’t a problem, as this will select their Forest camo, which is the best choice. However, for a significant amount of vehicles in game, with the Desert default camo, this is not the case. The camo automatically selected for them in Urban battles is ‘Desert’, which makes them stick out like a sore thumb if you don’t happen to notice and fix the selection in time.
Vehicles affected by this include vehicles with a desert themed premium, like the Challenger DS and Click Bait, and vehicles from South Africa, who all use a default Desert camo scheme.
All I’m suggesting is that, if no Urban camo is available for a vehicle, the game then checks for a Forest camo and equips it automatically if there is. If there isn’t (a completely fresh South African vehicle for example), the game would then select the Desert camo as usual. This stops accidentally spawning a useless Desert camo on an Urban map when you have better alternatives
Urban-tagged maps are pretty common, including Berlin, Advance to the Rhine, Sweden, Cargo Port, Breslau, and more.
An example of a Desert camo being automatically selected on a city map, even though a much more effective forest Camo would be the better choice.
