Just want to say great job on the map. There’s some annoying rocks on an already challenging flank map, but I think the design and details are amazing.
I have deep concern though because it feels like a 3 lane Moba map. It’s like there should be some jungle camp NPCs in the cross lanes and pockets. I’m actually amazed you guys made so many maps with 3 point objectives without the 3 lane MOBA feeling. I just hope it doesn’t get worse in that direction with future maps.
I love it because there’s so many ways to get around behind people, and the duels are rarely interrupted. I just dig it. The double wave dips at A are especially cool. The wide B with the solid guard with the center monument. And the frayed cover and access points to C.
Just great.
There are only 2 good and easy ways to get behind people. Attica is far the worst map yet added, the map is so poorly designed that every match is the same-same, 2/3 of the map is two teams camping the other 1/3 is forgotten or better used by the side that takes the capture point first.
What BR are you talking about generally?
If your team dominates one side, you can get in behind or beside the enemy at the other points. That’s my experience at least.
I like when most of the team goes to one objective generally. Makes for a fun romp. I miss the old Abandoned Factory map where everyone went to A. They turned everyone’s tanks toward mid at the spawn, so there’s not as huge as a clash at A. It still happens but they also moved the point so people can block cap while inside the buildings which bogs down the fight a bit, but still a great design overall. Probably hard to ruin that map.
I feel like It’s like the WT version of cod shipment. Smoke shells being the god send for leaving your side of the map. Though a few more flank routes to get a bit closer would be nice.
