It’s mediocre. The SL spawns are nice and the defense/attack concept. That’s about it.
Apparently this isn’t even a new gamemode, but an old one scrapped years ago.

It’s different from contesting points, but I’d still like to see an actual ‘realistic’ mode in the game for RB.

Could we get a version of this but without cas/planes or limit how much impact they have/their number?
I really like the idea, even if it is not really fresh or unique.
But I am really fed up to be the only aa spawning in while 4 or 5 people are in planes annihilating anything on the ground with their cannons and bombs, it is far from fun, most players also clearly dislike pulling out aas because other than it being rare, they only sit in spawn afk untill 2 planes kill it easily.
Can we add some kind of proxy/fuze shells to help with it?
I feel planes dominate untill the pilot himself is bad, it is not even the aas impact on it.
It feels like a sisyphus scenario to play like this
as a p.s.
I wanted to add that whenever the cas player gets attacked they seem to have an ego bigger than mars bcs last time I said it is unfair I got told to go play wot or get better which I feel misses the point.

Challenger and Comet can do some work even the firefly

They have short 88 and you can onetap it with BT-5 frontally either into the commander cupola or hitting the edge of armor at front where its angled.

on some maps the respawns are just too close and on others they are so far apart that defenders aren’t able to get to the second point in time, the attackers get from first point to the second point before the defenders even get the chance to get there, it’s especially noticable on novorossiisk

Yep, at some maps axis def even can’t get to the point to defend

It’s a test, and it was a good decision to stick to lower mid tier for now. These maps would be a crapshow at high tier.

If you get past A it’s very doable. You just have to send it to A with as much smoke shells as possible in something like a jumbo.

My observation: when one tank reaches the point and nobody stops it right away, it’s an instant cap.
With randoms and lack of coordination, you often end up in a situation where you simply can’t do anything — no time to react, no time to interrupt.

Here are a couple of first ideas.
Some kind of capture confirmation. A longer capture timer. A point should require 2–3 tanks to fully capture it. A warning zone like “enemy near the point”. Two points needed to push one zone. Make the capture zone smaller than the contesting zone.

IDK about requiring 3 tanks to cap but the timer spinning so fast and advancing to the next cap point instantly has to go. Too easy to snowball if the defense has no time to react.
