Man flying a mig with Aim 9ms is gonna be strange
Aim9m would be like a sidegrade to the 73e right?
They both have their uses in different situations. This will add a bit of flexibility to the aircraft.
Also the cockpit is now updated and it seems well made. I don’t know when the change happened exactly but I could’ve sworn it was Russian this morning. I only found out while making screenshots for a report.
anything more to the Mig 29 that could make a smidge more unique baring aim 9s… bomb ordinance maybe?
Sadly no other armament that I’d know of, but the radar might be another thing, since it would be the only MiG-29 in game to use N019ME. It should be a bit better than the current N019E, but aside from a second datalink channel I don’t know about specifics.
The radar was already reported by @kizvy and has already been accepted

Other than that the main differences to other MiGs are the “westernized” cockpit in English with Imperial measurements, English voice warning (this was also added in game alongside the updated cockpit) and the refueling probe.
Found this photo of MiG-29N cockpit

Spoiler
Larger quality photo also exist, but due to Flickr’s stup*d new paywall policy, now it’s no longer available
Really seems like they got it pretty well. Nice to see they’re putting in this level of effort.
Its a Mig 29 so how good will it be? I rarely see these in Air are they good or are there limits. Ground pounding seems to be an issue no good anti armor weapons.
oh yea right, it used to carry ACMI pod as well, I forgot about that one. IIRC it’s a locally made version and used to train alongside the Hawks.
plus the Hawk 208 squadron was stationed at the same airbase as MiG-29 so R&D may be done in tandem.
Ive got sad news a second mod denied it as they personally believe its for another variant of the mig and not the N aka the SE/SD internationally
I hope they can publish their sources, it would be interesting to see if it really used N019ME.
I just closed my own report yesterday because sources contradicted eachother, so this would mean they might have additional information.

13.3, yep instant DOA
(it was nice until this happen) (also I blame MatAWG because he’s the one insist for R-77 on this)
like, just make it 12.7 with AIM-9L, and F-16AJ finally have reason to be removed
Well, to be fair Japan lacks a 13.3 but I agree that this shouldn’t be it, also I don’t think the AJ is going anywhere anytime soon lol
So with the confirmation on Indonesia and Malaysia as subtrees for Japan, there are suddenly so many options now, even some that are not in the suggeston.
Indonesian Rafale, future Thai Gripen E and maybe, just maybe future Indonesian f-15idn, 2 more versions of T-50, indonesian su-27 and su-30mk2( i guess the same as the premium Venezuelan one), i think there are some A-4 too
Suddenly a lot of cas options too
Mostly yes, but Indonesia can use domestic P series dumb bombs for them which make it at least a bit more unique.
There’s also BNT-250 NATO style bombs as domestic Mk.82 alternative and even a GPS guoded version called B 250 ST
could be a big find

this image shows a finless TGM-65K2 (training version of the AGM-65) mounted on the inner hardpoint of the Hawk 209. Surely if a training version can be fitted so can a live version?
EDIT: it seems it has fins, just very blurry because of the image quality
closer look of a TGM-65K2 on an F-16 (?) (white stripe front, two blue behind it)

less that more the lighting on the fin matches the wet pavement below, either way the plane behind has a Maverick in the same exact place with a much more obvious fin
does it still have no radar in the dev server? Havent checked the dev server in a while
