Indonesian Skyhawks were limited to iron bombs and rockets, I’ve never seen a photo of Skyhawk with guided munitions
Yes and No
Yes the A-4’s that Indonesian was upgraded to Ayit specs however most if not all of the Israeli avionics were omitted by the US and substituted with US avionics prior to Indonesia operating them as part of the deal
They showed scale models with weapons at the commissioning ceremony.
I wish the real ones were armed too.
Airbus had shown an armed setup during the test flights as well.

Edit: I found this video. What is mounted on the nose?
So would it be functionally the same as the Ayit in game? Or atleast use the same armament? I would assume it’d lose the ability to use the Shafrir but can still use Sidewinders.
Indonesian A-4E’s wouldn’t be able to use any secondary ordinances of Israeli origin so no Shafrir 2 or any other ordinances of Israeli origin that the Ayit may get in future patches
They can use the rest just fine
So in theory, potentially AIM-9Ds on the wingtips, I can live with that honestly since Shafrir 2s aren’t really that good to begin with, and it’s more about CAS than air combat as well
The AIM-9D aren’t great either and should be treated more as a sidegrade to the Shafrir 2’s. The AIM-9D is faster, has a longer missile guidance time, slightly lighter and a longer lock-on distance over the Shafrir 2 while the Shafrir 2’s has a uncaged seeker, higher explosive yield and a slightly longer launch range over the AIM-9D.
However you are right that the A-4E/Ayit is still geared around CAS & Ground Attack mostly because inspite of the improved engines the energy retention is still not great
I assume if the rail launcher for AIM-9B and 9D is compatible with the 9P, then Indonesian A-4 in theory could carry AIM-9P
