I think the correct thing to do here is like it is in France, maybe transform the current OCU into the eMLU and add the 13.0 OCU foldered with it, the current OCU would just be model swapped/updated with the eMLU, anyone who already has it keeps it and that’s it, but knowing gaijin, they will keep the mutant as it is

Would love to see I would be looking forward for the Tu-16KS-1 bomber. With the new Heli in the Japanese tree I see the ASEAN founder sub tree being possible. I hope we get some decals to go along with all these sub trees to really make them all pop. An Indonesian plane needs an Indonesian decal to feel at home.

Tu-16 is one hell of a cool looking bomber for sure, I’d love it too, recently had a friend go to an air museum where he saw a bunch of MiGs and the Tu-16, specially with signs gaijin is willing to continue adding cold war era bombers, B-66 is a restart of that activity, Tu-16 next please

we would likely though see it first in the USSR tree and China’s Xi’an H-6. Cold war bombers would be cool to see more of. Hopefully they find a good place in the game.

Tu-16 is essential for future naval combat.
Can’t think of any equivalents as fast heavy bombers in other ASEAN nations.
Tu-16 (9000kg, 1050km/h)
P-2J (3629 kg, 402km/h)
P-3C (9100kg, 761km/h)
P-1 (9000+kg, 996km/h)
P-2J lacks both speed and payload of the Tu-16, while the P-3C and P-1 have higher speeds compared to the P-2J and similar bombloads (but do we really want to relegate the P-1 and to a lesser extent, the P-3 to just dumb bombs when they can be so much more?)
Ideally, P-2J >>> Tu-16 >>> P-3C (due to more advanced guided weaponry compared to the Tu-16) >>> P-1

I honestly prefer the two-seater for two reasons; France can keep the C airframe (i.e. the best Rafale once the F.4s gets added) and we can have a unique model of it as well - and I kinda like the two-seater with Indonesias livery.
But I take any we might get so…

Indonesia did procure both models, but their B model was made first, probably to aid with training, but I wouldn’t mind if we get the 2 seater as that would also make it unique

Do you know if there’s a list of weapons that indonesia is buying for their rafale?
Eg. hammers, micas, (i assume theyre buying meteors)

Considering they’re involved in the KF-21 program which is meant to also carry Meteors I’d assume Meteors + MICAs for the Rafale, no clue about ground weaponry though, but gaijin would probably just add the whole air to ground kit regardless

Yeah, although for better or worse we won’t see Meteors anytime soon it appears, we need drastic changes to ARB such as new or supersized maps and also the game mode itself, not just the current team deathmatch format. We’re really not there yet and don’t be surprised if we see the MICA NG before the Meteor simply because of the range
Can gaijin add vehicles like indo rafales to indo subtree, even though they are not in service atm🤔 I really like rafale but I haven’t grind out the French tt

I think the Indonesian Rafale is already qualified to be added, it has already flown and crews began training on it after all, we’re approaching a time where gaijin will have to start adding vehicles confirmed as ordered but not actually in service yet, only natural as we push to newer jets

why would this not be added to malaysia if maylaysia does indeed get added? it’s their best jet and is essentially a better su-30sm
