ASEAN Founders Aviation Sub-Tree

Little known fact but the Cobras that the Philippine Air Force operated for a brief time were ex-Jordanian AH-1S Tzefas which technically has the capability to fire Spike-ER Missiles, which is operated by the Navy funnily enough.

Sadly the Cobras were really only used to prepare the PAF for the eventual arrival of the T-129B Atak helicopters, training helicopter pilots and maintenance crews and so the cobras in PAF service were really only seen to be armed with rocket pods. It was seen with the pylons for the TOW missiles (only operated by the Army) but was not actually seen to be fitted with it.

They were decommissioned December of last year together with the OV-10 Broncos.

I’m not into tech and electronics so frankly idk, but it used the Ukrainian SURA HMS, which I believe also used in MiG-21 Bison, which is in-game

correct, RMAF MiG-29 and Su-30 pilots opt for MSA Gallet than ZSh-7 as it was said that ZSh-7 felt heavy on them hence chose for Gallet

IdAF performed a live fire test of the indigenous Sari Bahari’s BNT-250 250kg bombs few days ago. As the bombs was designed for Western-made aircraft, it could offer a unique payload for some Indonesian aircraft in the proposed sub-tree.

If implemented, it would likely be placed under the attack aircraft and bomber tree…?

Hawk 209 pack premium inbound

the black panther on the decal is slightly wrong though

actual insignia (left) vs decal (right)

in regards to the SELEX SEER RWR i’ve already prepared the necessary links for a while now

This bit kinda annoyed me

It’s not experimental marine camouflage, it’s just a variant of the standard blue tricolor scheme from the 1980s to the 2000s

ah-64e’s camo desc also is still messed up i think 🙂

This shows Gaijin dev team lack of research, they only took the emblem from wikipedia without research, because the actual decal that was applied to the aircraft has an entirely different shape and color.

this is the decal slapped on the actual jets

meanwhile the one i showed is the one they based the appliable decal on, but clearly the panther is wrong

based on the coloring they were taking the squadron logo, not the one on the vehicle, but of course still wrong

After some digging, the emblem that they used is a patch used during the preceeding A-4 Skyhawk era, so gaijin just added another patch decal

oh, they’re adding the 209, without irccm version

so 11.0-11.3 BR?
so with 209 as prem ig 208 could be tt, while T-50i for indo tt

guessing 10.7
(As Apparently it only gets two 65G, in contrast to the 200 with 4x 65Bs)

also is it 6 p-4 or just 4, because that’s an easy 11.0 if it has 6

quite shocking with maverick amount too or ig this will compensate by T-50i for having 4 mavericks

Should be just two from what can be seen from public pictures, while 208 gets four.

The pictures only show two, but I wouldn’t be surprised if It’ll only have 4.

If I was Gaijin, Id target the same BR as the Hawk 200, as Japan has a massive 10.7 hole in GRB and Indonesia is prime filler for that:

Leopard 2A4
Harimau
Padour II (ik more of a 9.3/9.7 but stay with me)
Hawk 209
RapidRanger

The decal they are adding looks a little more aggressive then the IRL one. I can see why they did the artistic license here.

Do you think we are getting a tech tree version as well? The tree needs some more CAS. Though maybe at lower tier

There’s Hawk 109, which is a two-seater and has no radar, but the rest is more or less the same, or the Malaysian Hawk 208

Mk 53 at like 7.7 or around that br as it lacks any sort of missiles and just has guns
