a disappointing one
but hey we got a Indonesian vehicle
But where is the AH-64E?
might be delayed I guess plus as you said, no Hellfire R’s (unlikely they’ll give it with JAGM)
I said this on the other post, F-5TH shouldn’t be 13.3 Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3) - #710 by KAISERLION
Not to mention that the F-8H model being present in general could also allow for the US to get their own (which could be a bit higher than F-8E, featuring AIM-9H and better performance)

Did some digging on OCU’s countermeasures and i found out that, the one in game we have is based on an F-16AB Block 15 procured with Peace Naresuan I in 1988, BUT there are also OCUs in service which is an F-16AJ and AZ model procured with Peace Naresuan II in 1991 and Peace Naresuan III in 1995, i have found two pictures confirming two extra AN/ALE47 pods on the left side, both pictures were taken in 2014, one of them was upgraded to eMLU standard but seemed to still be an OCU (lack of IFF nodes) when the picture was taken, referencing with F16.net they were both F-16A OCU from the start.
Spoiler

If techmods accept F-16.net as a valid source then maybe we could get this change?
Great finds, should make the Indonesian Hind a tiny bit more unique instead of a pure copy paste
Great stuff, also makes me wonder when we’ll see the FA-50s, since Thailand operates pretty advanced variants of those, theirs carry AIM-120s and they’re a precursor to the Block 20 FA-50 standard, are they waiting to add Korea to bring those for the rest of potential operators I wonder
I’m not entirely sure the Thai FA-50s are actually capable of carrying BVR missiles yet. As far as I know, no FA-50 variant currently fields them. The Block 20 is supposed to be the first version with true BVR capability, with the Polish FA-50PL set to be the first operator once AIM-120 integration is complete.
The reason people sometimes say the FA-50 can already carry AIM-120s is because upgraded variants—like the T-50TH, some of which were upgraded to match FA-50 Block 10 standards—received the MIL-STD-1760 wiring. That system allows compatibility with advanced munitions, but so far it’s mainly been used to support PGMs like Mavericks and JDAMs. The aircraft itself has not yet been integrated for BVR missiles.
From what I understand, this also explains why base T-50s such as the T-50i and ROKAF T-50B don’t employ guided bombs. Without the MIL-STD-1760 upgrade and software for targeting pods, they’re limited to unguided ordnance. That’s fine for their main role as trainers—though, interestingly, only the ROKAF and Indonesia’s TNI-AU have been seen using triple bomb racks.
Thailand operates T-50THs, best missile seen on it is the AIM-9M.
Non of the TA/FA-50s are able to use AMRAAMs.
can’t devs just say the ocu is modeled off one that has 45 cms only?
Isn’t all block 20 and above have the capability to carry AMRAAM?
Not a single Block 20 has been made yet.
They can’t because even while the additional CMs aren’t always mounted, the capability is still there. There is image proof of all Thai owned sub-blocks from 15AA to 15AZ (referring to date of production), and different build standards (Thai ordered F-16A-15 and F-16A-15/30 received from Singapore) having either these additional countermeasures mounted or the mounting points visible.
These images are also in the bug report.

The only Thai F-16 that wouldn’t be capable of using four AN/ALE-40 dispensers would be the ADFs.
don’t forget the Igla’s as well! which the current one in dev server having R-60/60M
Would be nice to have other ASEAN aircraft
Eventually, in time will come, the fact that Indonesia is appearing with a completely unrelated vehicle to Japan is a great sign
