Artifacts in gunner sight

Hey guys, already posted this on reddit and almost freak out because of the artifacts.

See here https://youtu.be/sOG5IhCfnKs

Whenever I go into gunner sight on certain maps, especially the test drive, I get strange artifacts when swiveling the view. I’m running a brand new 5090 and newest driver, running DX12 without RT. DLSS set to native. Slightly undervolted. Issue persists even if I disable the undervolt.

I already tried turning RTX on and off, switching renderer to DX11 and back und testing motion blur and reflection details. Lowering reflection details to minimum made it slightly better but didnt solve the problem. Also tried repairing game files through launcher without success.

Is this a known game issue or is my GPU cooked?

I realized this only occurs when fully zoomed in tanks with slow traverse like the Tiger in the example. I tried Leo2 and BMPT72 and there everything is fine.
When using binos this artifacts are also non-existent. I’m gonna try and replace the 5090 with a 3090 to see if the issue still remains.

You can bug report it here (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about): (Gaijin.net // Issues)

A guide on how to report bugs can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)

Maybe someone here has the same problem. Here’s the link to the case: Artifacts in gunner sight // Gaijin.net // Issues

So no words from the devs so far… sad.
To ensure its not hardware, I switched back to my old 3090. Problem still persists. Also re-installed game and did DDU. All without effect.
This must be an engine bug. As you can see when you stop the video when the artifacts appear it seems that its complete rectangular tiles of the ground texture that are missing.

If your report hasn’t been handled for a long time then you can write to one of the Technical Moderators to ask about it. You can find all the teams and the areas they handle listed here: (Who is who and Reporting Procedure). If you don’t get an answer within a few days you can add more moderators from the list to the original message instead of sending a new message (that way you preserve the date of the message and it doesn’t look like a new request), adding one of the moderators to the message every 2-3 days or so until you get an answer.

Please do not to add the seniors until you have tried all other regular moderators, the Seniors likely won’t answer unless they are added and pinged by the regular moderators but if you’ve added all the regular moderators with no answer then you can add the seniors.
