I think their waiting for the switch 2 as one of they game their working on i.e. nintendo is releasing later next year and the switch 2 is rumored to have a better graphics driver in it which would help wt plus better specs so I say give it two years
If u can see on the portal vita and steam deck it wouldnt be a problem seeing
The VITA and Portal both run of using Remote Play which is streaming off an PS4/5 and do not use the consoles inherent power. It’s the only way they can run at a sharp quality.
The Steam Deck is substantially more powerful than the already outdated Tegra chip on the Switch.
The best chance we have for the switch is to also use cloud streaming (which it can already do) and a good internet can support this.
I don’t think the dev team is that interested and I think Nintendo is finalising a new console.
Here is the interview and tweet also 143.4 million nintendo switches have been sold out as of 2024 so this would bring alot of players

War Thunder Interview – Cross-Play, Monetization, Future Plans, and More
That interview was 5 years ago and there’s little no news since, that speaks for itself.
It’s also another set of hardware, another company to work with when it comes to store integration, software updates, can you guarantee there’s a substantial overlap of percentage of Switch owners + audience interested in War Thunder for it to be worth the above effort and is it worth it over again when the new console is very soon.
If you readed my original post then you would already know I already said that its been 5 years yes but the new console is coming somewhere in 2025 december and as I mentioned there are at least over 100million nintendo switch users around the world the nintendo switch 2 is coming after GTA VI
I did; you just ignored my summation.
Have a nice day.
It would be cool but switches are just as effective as potatoes with screens. It will likely be a WT mobile port if at all
If u watch any of the comments u can see the hacked switch getting 81fps. Also another solution is cloud streaming as someone already mentioned that
I’d say forget the switch port. I love the console but it’s successor is literally around the corner. Hopefully it’ll allow for a more effective port.
Ofc the last option is a WTM port which is kind of a bummer but better than nothing
Tbf some can do pretty well, I’m mainly talking from experience with mine, I got it a month or so after the switch came out and nowadays my 3DS could probably run most games more effectively
no, I don’t but I had to get a micro SD just to download more than 2 games, and my switch has random crashes a lot for the more graphically advanced games
Hmm weird my switch has crashed 0 times even tho the OLED has only a bigger screen, better hard drive and more battery life.
-This might be the reason. Theres a reason why Xbox requires the new SSD variants over USB transfer. The transferrence speed between the hard drive and system could cause for crashes. E.g. on my Xbox if I attempted to play MWIII (the new one) off my old HDD it would slow and eventually crash whereas on my SSD it works fine.
Sorry I messed some words up I meant the internal memory of 64 gb , also I forgot to mention that 1080p via HDMI in TV mode was a thing.
Internal can play a role too but usually modern consoles use internal SSDs. As for the 1080p on TV thing I never knew of that primarily because my dock never worked
They could make it a port of war thunder mobile. Its not as intensive and would still provide non steam deck players with a portable war thunder solution.
Wargaming brought WoT Blitz to switch and it did very well. helped balance the playerbase in that game too as there was now an in-between of the PC players and the six-year olds on their aunties Ipad in terms of skill
WoT blitz was even before full of 6 years olds because they downloaded the game on their dads phones and tablets.
