They are worse than the other 13.7 flankers like the Su-27SM or J-11B.
Regardless, I’d rather them be 13.7, than be by far the best 13.3 planes if Gaijin refuses to decompress 13.0+.

Probably because su34 is fighter bomber jet. Like su17 or mig27. And focus is on ground strike capability.
Gaijin won’t let premium su30s face 14.7 top tier. It will stay at 13.3 until more decompression happens. 12.7-13.0 will have to suffer with constant uptiers till then. I noticed that TT 13.3 gets the same downtier benefit as the su30 premiums so I guess that’s a workaround for this problem.
But yeah for arb I think all non tippy top tier flankers can afford to go up a br.
All 13.0 ones to 13.3, all 13.3 ones to 13.7, then the su-27sm to 14.0.
J11b is pretty mid so it can stay where it is

I’ve been using the Mig29N to ride the downtiers and its so sad seeing them guide sparrows on me when I just click with HMD, fire missile, and boom kill. I’m never touching 12.7-13.0 again till somehow planes that carry SARH cannot face Fox3, its so bad.

And the MiG-29N is one of the worst in the 13.3 bracket as well lmao, compression is a joke in this game

Yep, been getting 2-3 kills consistently. I’ve noticed whichever team has less 12.7 premiums and more 13.3 premiums win the match. It sucks NATO players are losing their money worth because their premium sucks. Meanwhile Russia and China players are speedrunning their air tree right now.

yes, MKK can spam out more missiles, but gripen has much easier time going into notch and/or turning the encounter around.
JAS39C is kill on sight whenever I play MKK; its the one plane I absolutely dont want to engage outside of having massive energy and position advantage.
that thing will notch my missile and then whip around its nose for swift counterattack in matter of seconds.
also a nitpick but I recall you calling 9M a better missile than PL8B few days back :p

yeah but you can just pick r-73 instead of pl8b.
and it has r-27et which is nice situationally but id’ rather just take r-77.

i’d rather have the loadout which is much more important than those 2 things.

You can, yes. But why would you do that, that is the other question. Outside of high off bore shots, PL8B will always perform better due to higher acceleration and thus lower time to target.
but I digress, not the point of this post, R-73 is option for both premium Su30s, and neither of our personal preferences matters that much.
CMs are part of the loadout.
FM cant be overlooked either, being able to get proper firing solution will do just as much as having more manueverable missile and better FM also helps you defensively.
I feel it in higher intensity games.
