PL-12s aren’t different enough over r-77 to warrant it to go to 14.0.

They don’t have the flight model, maybe acceleration, and a okay radar. But still carry too many missiles.
They definitely are…
Yet with 2 less missiles it sits a whole step higher, only better than them in the radar department.
Both of those Flankers should be 14.0 and we need more decompression.
SM and 11B has no business seeing 12.7’s that only has SARH missiles and Aim-9L’s.

at least for me, my su-27 and j-11a games (13.0 and 13.3) are like 80 percent 13.7 games, with most of the players being premium hornet spam.
So for me it’s free farming… Though I spaded my flankers like a year or 2 ago.
Spading with only 2 fox 1s is probably rough as hell (though at least you do get 6 ir missiles fairly early on)

I was okay with 2 fox-1 since its R-27ER unlike regular flankers that has R-27R as stock and like you said you can get access to 6 more missiles fairly easy.
Problem is mm so i messed up I often go toe to toe with Fox-3 slingers with completely stock flight performance, for the first time in my life I decided to spade flight performance on flanker rather than getting 27ER’s first.
2 R-27ER/ET+4 R-73 in current meta is not that bad tbh but bein stock in flight performance part? Its terrible while using Su-33 in 2026.

yeah I would never do that on any plane really tbh, I always go for missiles first.

Exactly, even with Super Hornet which has worse flight performance than Legacy one I decided to get my missiles as fast as possible.
Su-33 on the other hand is different experience in my case, as soon as unlocked the ET’s I started to get flight performance modules, tho if I unlock cover part I will get access to researching 27ER’s.

If Two vehicles will suffer in order to sake of entire Br bracket, let them suffer, this also goes for other 13.7’s as well.
Nothing justifies current compression. Yet it is a given fact and you will cope with it.

You play this game. The only way to make gaijin do something - remove yourself from the game. By not doing so - you are already coping with current state of the game.
“much higher chance” is just an attempt to overlook problem X that you don’t particularly care for the sake of problem Y that you want to fix. Either situation is unfair, no “higher chance” bullshit is justified.
Why should 13.7s go up and make a hole in matchmaker that will give 12.7s much more downtiers into 11.7-12.0 premium horde? Want to seal club in your 12.7?
For the average player that’s pretty bad.
Remember, the average WT player is probably a little bit ‘special’ so they’re used to sharting out 120+ CMs from NATO planes like the Hornet.

I’m not obligated to stupid decisions which seems you’re not familiar with, difference is that I rather have decent mm for all players rather than abusing current compression.
Its a simple way to say my favorite vehicle should club more and I should not face the consequences.
Solution is simple in this case, planes that has access to Fox-3’s,HMD and IRRCM missiles should not face 12.7’s under any circumstances.
Another solution is to increase top tier br to 15.0 and drag all those undertiered vehicles to their proper deserved br bracket which in this case many 13.3-13.7 should recieve br increase.

You know you can just increase 13.3’s to 13.7 and 13.7’s to 14.0 in order to make more breathing room for 12.7’s bracket, this will still not solve the entire compression but it will give more chance to 12.7’s to fight back rather than getting clubbed by undertiered vehicles.
Funny thing is that you can see the skill level of a player by the way they spend their CMs. It’s always a random F-4S or Hornet player that will just flare dump half of the cartridge.

And in Flankers you only really need 1-5 cms to dodge a missile since they’re large caliber.
