Are the two front pack, hells on wheel pack or in may 1945 pack ever going to be on 50% discount since their only rank 3 and quite “cheaply” priced by gaijin standards. Just asking so i know what to expect for new years sale eventually

They are one of the better “bargains” Gaijin has put out in quite some time
and I just do not see them ever going on sale at a discount.
I mean, never say never, but personally I just do not see it happening myself.

The packs contain only rank III vehicles and some fluff.
If you look at prices for rank III vehicles (~3000GE) , you’ll see that the pack is not so much a special deal after all. Besides, it has limited grind value, after you have completed rank VI, you need another set.
What it does is this: It accomodates people to expect faster progress, same as the free talismans you get in the low ranks. It is really serves to get people hooked up to paying. It would be kind of counterproductive not to put them on sale eventually. Maybe only at 30%?
There certainly is value for someone who wants to play WW2 vehicles + wants to play USA/GER/RU that have these packs available + really likes the vehicles included in the three packs. But as premiums for speeding up progression through tech tree it is a bit of a trap … Two Fronts pack is 35$ with 1k GE included (rank3 vehicles that can research only up to rank4), Turm III with 2k GE included is only 25$ when (if) discounted and is rank5 vehicle that can research everything rank6 or lower. Or 35$ will get you discounted top tier tank pack that can research whole tech tree (if one really wants to jump into the hellhole that is top tier gameplay).
But of course big difference is that you can buy Two Fronts pack for 35$ at any time you want, if you want Turm III for 25$ you have to get lucky and catch it when discounted in store (right now it isn’t). So there’s that.
Also, pretty much identical GE vehicles have better RP/SL bonuses than pack vehicles (M18 Black Cat vs Hell, Firefly Trzyniec vs Overlord).
I checked the historical price record on every platform for the two fronts pack and it never seemed to have had a discount. So I just bought it at normal price.
My opinion is that it’s more of a niche collector’s pack. If you are not totally into Tigers and 5.7 matches don’t buy it. It is not good for grinding RP and it requires certain skills to enjoy (weakpoints, angling). However the lineup paired with the Pz.Bef.Wg VI prints SL like mad if SL is what you want. 109 kills and 25 deaths in one afternoon is just insane.
