I am wondering how many types of APFSDS are in the game, and how they act differently? I saw there were discussions about long and short rod APFSDS, but not sure how it would affect the game experience. And also I want to know more about the detailed categories of APFSDS in the game. Please enlighten me if you have more info on this! Thank you!
Long rod are better in general like in spall and pen
There isnt much to know about just some have better angled pen (which are better) and some better flat pen
Also i think short rod is only in the early types of apfsds from 10.7 and above its all long rod if im not mistaken
Any APFSDS round that is above 76mm in calibre has spalling only determined by residual penetration.
25-76mm APFSDS are determined by weight and residual penetration.
