I really don’t like these new clean looks.
Decals have wear and maps are war torn places (except for Poland and Kuban).
There’s no reason for these super clean looks, they stick out like a sore thumb, literally you can easily spot them from far away.
I want my crooked roadwheels, bent out mud guard, steppin points, handles and exhaust pipes, chipped rubber and paint, rust or even just mud around where crew stepped on.
Sure parade patterns will look clean, but no need to extend it to all vehicles.
WT maps don’t look like day 1 offensives, there are craters eveywhere, crashed planes, abandoned defensive positions, barbed wire and trenches.
Earlier props even have more wear on places where the pilot steps to enter the cockpit. Y’know planes? which stand around in airfields far away as to not eat an artillery shell to the face, where they should have all the time in the world to paint it pretty and stuff?
Decals have wear even, commander questioning if it should execute the base crew for making a drawing on the side of the 2-day old tank look like it jumped from a tank that spent 2 months on the front, since even such a sloppy job requires talent to make such an illusion.
And to those who say “mud builds up on your tank”, it only builds like 1 meter above the roadwheel, you could at least texture the boots of the crew because I don’t believe they spent 6 hours inside the tank even before the battle
Those details are personality, illusion of an ace on the making pushing it’s machine to the limit or some boys who are just lucky to survive on the coffin they are in for so much time.
These “brand new” tanks are inside an enviroment which obviously has spent more than a month seeing battle after battle.
Even the “50% condition” on the slider looks new, the 0% should look like “this tank will fall apart any second now”, if I pull it to 100% I would be left with the raw material for the tank and the cribs of the 5 crewmembers
