Anyone else noticed how absolutely HORRID model quality has gotten lately?

It’s locked at 50% degradation on free to play.
You can’t make it clean without premium, but it’s always worn without premium.
Which further disproves Heavytanker’s claims.

My Type 16 fell in for an extended period of time.

Too bad the Zimmerit on the Tiger II messes up decals now.

+1. I think gaijin needs to mess up camos more on 0% and open up that slider on free-to-play accounts

I love how gaijin is so insecure and shitty that they are going through and removing any comment here rightfully calling out their rampant use of AI.

There is a simple way to stop the criticism. Stop using it, delete any profile pic or anything that has it.

As for the response to the latest “We are ruining our game, lets milk our playerbase with garbage Ai generated Anime Girls that look like kids but have huge tits, for just a little more money”

And being caught being using AI, you aren’t sorry for using it. You are sorry you got CAUGHT. that simple. if people hadn’t caught it and called you on it, you would have kept that skin and tank the exact same, and kept doing it too.

Dude. It’s 20 bucks every 6 months.

If YOU can’t afford it, it’s okay, I’m not going to judge your circumstances… but don’t say that “NO ONE CAN AFFORD” the equivalent of 2 Burger King meals every 6 months xD

(Not to mention the countless opportunities to earn GJC by selling free-earned event vehicles).

$40 every six months. Or if your smart $40 every year.

I’d like to add something to this as I agree with the premise but not the interpretation.

Now speaking personally, I like wear on vehicles. I like a lot of wear on vehicles because they look combat worn. Clean vehicles just don’t fit in a combat environment to me, but I do see the logic in suggesting the default skin should be clean. I have userskins to add wear (which I already do) and marketplace skins exist.

That aside, my addition here is that in my view model quality has degraded in the most literal manner of the word. Take the typhoon for example. Even if you’re on the 100gb+ UHQ textures client, its skin is blurry. Text is unreadable, lines are poorly defined… it’s just poorly done. Compare it to the older WW2 aircraft which are often much better, or even early cold war jets. It just feels like they got lazy with the details.

Community apparently loves their waifus.

The community has the average mental capacity of a middle schooler, not surprising tbf.

Loads of them are just that, middle schoolers.

thats just what that green paint looks like when its got a bit of mud and wetness to it, thats not rust or damaged.

lmao the tigers dont look beat up

God forbid a Parade Camoflage looks clean

and iirc the skins that use custom textures instead of overlays the sliders will have much less of an effect

Alot of the new additions just don’t work right either.

Look at alot of the newer jets, the Pylons for missiles and such don’t even CONNECT to the airframe.

Of course, you ONLY get Premium time during 50% sales.

Ideally, packs too.

Model quality?

Model is the shape, texture is the color. I think you’re finding issues with the texture.

You’re comparing tanks with a skin on with tanks with no skin on, which isn’t really a fair comparison.

And with that said, I think “clean” tanks is perfectly appropriate. Why should my BTR be battle-worn? I think it should had some wear on it like it has, but damaged parts?

And someone else pointed out the skin sliders, you can adjust it to your liking

Neither of the tanks i used in the original post had skins, They were just using standard Camo’s the game includes.

I need my parade to be ruined. Plus its not really a texture issue. It’s more so to do with added skins directly overlaying on top of the original camo preventing the dirt map of the original model to appear. - You can see this when the skin is loading, because you can change the slider and see changes up until the camo fully applies.

Only certain created skins have dedicated areas in them that allow the original dirt mapping to appear.
