I mostly play england and I have troubles going up the tech tree, currently I am at BR 6.3, overall British tanks are situatiol at that BR like the Charoteer, it’s great flanker/sniper due to its speed and great gun penetration, but it’s armor is mediocre, then there is FV 4005 also quite situational, great gun with those sometimes lackluster HESH shells and almost non-existentional armor. But overall there isn’t much great vehicles to choose from.
Use HESH for under the hull since they are slow you might be able to aim low or above the turret. It gets eaten In the middle.
You are entering the APDS hell hole.
Every other nations get far far easier to use weapons as you have to nail precise pixel perfect spots to do damage and then usually need 2 shots per kill.
6.7 to 8.7 Britain is incredibly labourious imo
HESH is broken, it doesnt work, just ignore it

It’s broken so use it.I used my T58 destroy a 279 just by shooting at the hull and FV 4005 HESH is even bigger. Just one thing is that the reload is bad so don’t miss.
Use any of the HEAT-FS equipped vehicles like the Ratel or the Eland (my favorite). At least their round will do something against other vehicles.
Going beyond 7.7, Britain is sad.
The Fox is good still, and I pair it with the Victors Mk1 (only for the quick reload). They’ve nerfed my beloved Falcon yet again, so it’s almost useless though…
