I will prob play air exclusively when gaijin makes escalation permanent and adds all those weapons to more aircraft of different eras.

Can the M2 even use those types of weapons?
we are just lacking the F-4Cs now, seeing how 10.0/10.3 is the lowest aircraft that has ARM missiles
I did very brief search and this site states one kh28 can be used on su17 series.
And on this page Проекции ракеты Х-28 (изделие Д-8) | Ракетная техника it shows projections of missile on different su17 variants including su17m2.
This page Óãîëîê íåáà ¦ Ñóõîé Ñó-17Ì2 mentions kh28, kh27ps and kh58 as available options.
This site Raduga Kh-28 | Weaponsystems.net just mentioned su17 without elaborating.
Unsure about this site Ground-Attack Aviation & Fighter-Bombers Units but context wise it seems like “M3 retains m2 weaponry names bombs, rockets, etc. Kh28 was still relevant but new, better missiles entered service” so I guess author of text implies kh28 were used on m2 and were still usable on m3. But thats my interpretation.

9.7 actually. Aardvark, thunderchief and su17m3. But yeah, f4c needs arms new stuff as well. And other higher tier jets. Each tier deserves variety, not just top tier and pre top tier.

Soooo do you have any info about Kh-28 bands?
From what we have in game it can target hawk. And some other bands but unspecified. Nike hercules and thunderbird arent present in game afaik.
Do we know what bands use that SAMs?
Hawk uses I band, thats all I know
