It doesnt matter, the anti-era round just added doesnt work properly and can’t pen anything higher than kontakt-5 (fyi current rounds can already). Not to mention they are buffing relikt era so it isnt possible to pen it.
But whats really funny is Gajin can just artificially buff russian vehicles and make up armor values, but the moment any other NATO tanks armor is improved they need concrete proof to change the armor values. No bias whatso ever here.
It took longer for the abrams to get a more accurate turret ring. Wanna mention how almost every single mbt is getting large componets inside they’re vehicles except… A certain single nation.

It was a bug fix, also M829A3 is not coded to ignore Relikt. As it should.
Besides ERA overperforming and BMPT turret belts, not much else. I wouldn’t mind if those are fixed.
Abrams is already the best top tier tank arguably, only competition being 2A7/122 which are easier to play but have lower potential. I sense they don’t want to buff it because its already just great.
Also, US is the ONLY nation to get Anti-ERA even though other nations have rounds that should be able to as well, however Gaijin denied the reports because ??? This must be US bias.
The Blackpill: There isn’t any Russian bias, gaijin just has all the forum moderators on shoot on site orders for abram’s LFP buff posts because they know it has the potential to be OP as shit if it had realistic values.
I honestly believe this because the reasoning for each consecutive abrams LFP denial gets dumber and dumber, they should just come clean about it honestly; I’d have no issue with it not being buffed as a balance issue until better tanks eventually come.
I personally think they allowed the anti-era to the U.S. only as a form of compensation for no LFP buff, whilst ensuring it will be mostly a nothingburger (your still going to be fighting relekit 90% of the time either way).
But honestly them buffing the turret cheeks, which were already effectively unpennable in most situations, is hilarious
On a positive note, M1a2 Trophy will be great against the upcoming heli spawn camping MITL spam (god bless SPAA players, its going to be rough).
pantsir sm when it wasnt needed, BMPT, LMURs while more components in the Leo, Abrams, Chally, Type 10, Leclerc etc etc yes total USA Bias. They get a round that isnt gonna make a huge difference due to most T80s/T72s having the ERA they defeat be at 12.0. Not to mention most of the time the current round can already pen it.
I can point out OP NATO stuff added in the past that was much more influential on balance, but w/e.
Most RU tanks you see at 12.7 are UE1s or BMPTs actually. So while they were not much of a threat anyway, its funny to just click in its (T-80U/T-72B3) direction and it blows up. While having all the disadvantages of an RU tank.
yea because Russian tank was notorious for receiving 0 damage whatsoever if u miss the ammo, it was a hit or miss. Modelling auto loader is also fair because prior to it, there was 0 way to stop them from reloading, unlike NATO MBT where if you pen it, you are guaranteed to disable something important.
Even now, I still think that it’s stupid how turret basket stops horizontal drive of the tank turret while Russian auto loader doesn’t. And the current dev server just adds more and more NATO MBT module while Russian ones are noticeably absent
On OG NATO MBTs w/o basket? No not really. The Abrams and Leo were notorious for absorbing hull shots. Now the basket was the wrong move, but it was a problem nevertheless.
